Beautiful shotgun. This sporting model uses the 30" ported barrel from the Supersport. Fit and finish are superb IMO. I use this shotgun for sporting clays and have not had a single malfunction in over 300 rounds over my first week and a half of owning it. I have only shot 1 1/8 oz loads so far but I strongly suspect it would cycle 1 oz loads no problem. Recoil may be slightly more than some gas semi autos but I do not find it to be any problem at all, even shooting over 100 shells in a game of sporting clays. Very pleased with this shotgun and Bud's was great as well.
