SCCY pistols have gotten some flack over their magazines but they work perfect if you touch up a few things.

1st - dissemble the mags and take a small fingernail file (your wife/GF probably has one) and file/smooth/buff the inside of the feed lips and the nose of the mag where the feed ramp will be. You don't need to bevel the edges, just lightly work it with the fingernail file to remove any burrs or rough edges.

2nd use your fingernail file to lightly stroke the bottom edges of the mag follower (the shiny black plastic piece that the spring pushes up through the mag body) You just want to smooth any sharp edges on the bottom of the follower, not the top.

3rd - spritz inside the mag body with CLP, RemOil or some other clp, then scrub the insides with a old tooth brush, then clean/dry the oil off. I work a rag up through the bottom of the mag and pull it out through the feed lips to dry the insides - you don't want oil left in your mag.

Finally, reassemble and load to capacity then let them sit fully loaded. The spring will break in so that it's easier to load to capacity and the now smoothed edges will allow proper feeding.
