Ordered this case for my Remington 870 equipped with a red dot scope and sling. After much looking, couldn't find a shotgun case that was deep enough without being 52" long. My 870 with a 20" slug barrel is 42", which left about 10" of case flopping around and the gun sliding back and forth in the case. This 46" case works great. Big enough to accommodate my gun with scope and sling mounted, but no flopping or sliding back and forth. Well made and the attached sling comes in handy.
