I love the Sig line. I trust its reputation and quality. Love the way this fits my hand and very evident it is a quality product. Love the feel when I shoot it and have had no problems at all. Would definitely buy again. I did not purchase the laser with this gun.

I have really enjoyed this gun. Lots of fun to shoot and makes a good c&c gun. Very smooth, I ended up getting the Sig extended clip with it.

This was my first purchase of a pistol. First of all I was extremely pleased with my experience of dealing with Bud's. The price was better than any I could find locally......Ended up a good deal with the laser just being a bonus. Purchased this gun for a CCW that was not only easy for me to handle, but also my wife who will also be taking the class. This firearm is a good representation of the quality that Sig has stood for. Ammunition is a bit more pricey for the .380 than a 9mm, but I like the feel, fit and finish of this gun so much that I feel it more than makes up for the extra expense at the range. I would recommend this firearm and would also recommend purchasing it from Bud's.

The two-tone P238 [238380TSSLSR] with night sights, laser, extended finger rest magazine AND Houge rubber grips is just what I was looking for in terms of a concealed carry handgun. I've shot Walther .380 PPK/S and .32 ACP PP handguns for years and can say that the Sig Sauer P238 lives up to my expectations for what I wanted in a small concealed carry handgun. For its size, it exhibits minimal recoil and shoots a nice group @ 20 ft. This seems to be the ultimate P238 package for the money. My only beef with this handgun is the trigger pull. Compared to my Walthers, IT'S HEAVY. It also doesn't seem very consistent in terms of how much pull it takes to fire from one shot to the next. I ended up breaking the gun down and cycling the hammer several hundred times. I then lubricated the surface of the "catch point" between the hammer and sear. The pull now seems much more consistent but is still a bit heavy for my taste. With that said, I liked this handgun enough to also buy the Lady version [238380LADY] for my wife. It exhibits the same trigger pull phenomenon and I've just finished cycling and lubricating this gun with the same outcome as the two-tone. All in all, these P238s will make nice concealed carry sidearms for us! My advice is to buy one (or two or three!)......

I have many of these awesome little P238s but this one has the nicest grip feel of all of them, with the thicker Hogue grip with finger grooves and the extended 7-round mag for another finger on the grip, I wish they all felt as great as this one does. The laser is an added plus, and at the price, is almost free. Grab one of these before they sell out, bravo Sig Sauer, nicely done.

Buds great as always. Two days and in my hands. This is my first Sig. Cleaned and lubed it last night and cycled it about 100 times. Took to the range today after work. First magazine 6+1 in chamber 21ft first time firing the gun----- 3 inch group , 3 ripping together a bigger hole. 100 rounds total no problems. Run like a well oiled machine . Recoil very tame. Sites are good ( I have night sites ). I have a Diamondback DB9 as my carry gun. Great gun, buttttttttt this Sig isn,t even in the same class. I must say I have a new carry gun. Thanks Buds

I couldn't be happier with the p238. It was 100% reliable the first trip to the range even mixing mags with different ammo. Accuracy was excellent for that size of pistol. This was my first Sig, and after experiencing the quality first hand it will NOT be my last! Absolutely worth the extra cost compared to the other .380's.

5 stars for Buds. Ordered on a Monday, received at my FFL on Wednesday. 5 stars for the Sig P238. This is a great pistol and the free laser is a nice addition. I have put over 200 rounds through the gun so far. It is amazingly accurate, has low recoil and is fun to shoot. I bought this gun to be my CCW. The only downside is that my wife really likes this little pistol. I may have to get a second one soon.

Fantastic deal from Bud's. Beautiful gun. Runs like a Swiss watch. I put 250 rounds of various .380 ammo through it the first time at the range, and it fed and ejected everything perfectly from the magazine that came with it as well as the two 7 round spares I purchased. The sights are fantastic; Tritium and full size, not the nubs you find on most pocket pistols. The laser is easy to engage and sight in. Recoil is slight, and the beavertail does not rip up the web of my hand like a PPK. Accurate as well. For those of you in NY, be aware that SIG does not include the required spent casings, so you will have to have your FFL obtain COBIS compliance with the local NYSP center.

I love the pistol except for the grips (the reason I rated it down to 4). There needs to be some cross-hatching or something on the cheap plastic grips. Hard to hold in cold weather or if hands are slick. I'm thinking of ordering some good grips, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the excellent price Bud's offered. The only other negative I have is that the holster provided with this setup doesn't accommodate the laser. Why not? Finally, a word of advice to other buyers: When adding mags, try Colt Mustang magazines. Nearly identical, and they work just as well as the Sig mags at half the price. Bud's has them for $19.93 to $25.30 . Blue mags look better on this gun than stainless, and the Colt mags have a longer lip that aids the grip.

First purchase from Bud's and I couldn't be more pleased with everyone there

very nice pistol and delivery time was very quick. When installing the laser be sure to place the battery in negative side up. Some of the directions indicate just the opposite and it won't work. you can check this at the SigSauer website.

Took 2 full weeks to get it, but landing this baby for $450 was one of the best deals I have ever gotten on a new firearm. I am not a SIG guy (had a P250 I would use as a hammer before I'd use it for defense), but I have been shooting a friend's P238 for a while and this little gun is fun to shoot, dead on accurate with the night sights, and extremely comfortable to carry. This is the .380 perfected...wouldnt change a thing.

This is my first purchase from Bud's and the experience has been as easy as any in-store purchase. Ordered on Saturday night, chose a Bud's preferred FFL dealer, picked it up the following Wednesday. The dealer was more than happy to complete the transfer stating they get firearms from Bud's all the time. As far as the P238, it's more than I anticipated. This is my first Sig. The feel and balance is perfect for my hand. I've priced this deal through other dealers and they can't touch the price of this package. As long as Bud's business operates this way, I'll continue to purchase all my firearms and accessories from them.

very good price for a very good gun - with the extra accessories. I put 100 rounds through it on the 1st day - no ftl or ftf. I am very impressed with it's small size - it will make a great pocket gun.there is a large selection of after market grips and clips.

I am so happy I saw this during the very brief time it was on sale. It was a tremendous value and Bud's service was a good as always. It took 50 rounds to start shooting straight but it's great now. Never a FTF of any sort and very easy to handle even with larger hands. I installed Hogue grips and it might be my favorite 1911 frame out of the dozen I have. It's truly a great little firearm and built like a tank.
