It’s a smooth beast; looks and shoots great. It’s also very easy to clean. The ammo tube spring is tough at first, just make sure to take out the spacer. Would highly recommend

I have not shot it yet,but my first impressions of it are good. It will fill the role of a truck gun quite well. My only complaint would be the position of the the slide release. It's the opposite of every shotgun I have ever had.

This shotgun is awesome. Ran several rounds thru it, and it's as smooth as glass. Added straps and swivels, she's a great gun to have. As for the Bud's end of the deal: as always it too was as smooth. The gun and salesmanship from Bud's are top notch! We'll be back!

Ive owned 3 of these shotguns...no problems but this last one is failing to release shell from magazine tube sometimes...no matter how hard u pump it

Only once has a gun taken more than days to reach my local FFL and that one time was during the holidays. The Winchester SXP Marine Defender looked great. It came in a red cardboard box with owners manual and a tool to remove choke tube. I took the gun to the range and it shot wonderfully. I will admit that it does have a little kick but nothing that cant be managed and the recoil pad does help. Overall; it was another smooth purchase from Buds.

Quality shotgun for the price.

I looked at several 12 gauge tactical size shotguns before going with this Winchester. It was everything I hoped it would be. As well designed, put together as my Benelli Supernova, this is a cream of the crop 12 gauge. Nice looking, great craftsmanship, as good as the old Model 1300's Winchester was known for. Good job Winchester. One thing I noted right away. Many shotguns today have plastic followers. They can warp and stick in the magazine over time. Had one do it. This one is steel which told me a lot right out of the box.

Am well pleased. After reading the warning about care with the Marinecoat finish I was wary of harming the finish when I wanted to readjust the removable fiber optic front sight. It came off and back on without harming the finish at all. (see holding the back of the sight at 45 degrees.) The shotgun is tight and the sling mounts are an added feature. The action is stiff as one would expect with a new shotgun. The price is mighty right when compared to Mossberg and especially Remington when shopping the same finish. Buy it.

This is my first shotgun was looking for a home Defence/tactical and figured this was a good place to start. So far I love it it's simple to operate and so far I can say (haven't live fired it yet) it works like a dream. The only negative thing I really have to say and I'm not sure who to blame for this one but when I first removed it from the box it was soaked in oil. I could have done a deep fry for the whole neighborhood with the amount of oil the was coming out of this thing but besides that I love it. Thanks for buds for the 90-day layaway program. And thanks to gulf coast arms for the transfer.
