This is the CZ 455 Varmint "Tacticool" model using the Boyd's Tacticool stock. The "LAM" in the title was confusing to me, but I ordered based on the manufacturer's SKU on the CZ webpage, and, this is the right one. Have not shot a target yet, but I expect good things from the rifle. It has the same 20.5" heavy barrel as the Varmint and Precision Trainer models. Measures .9" at the muzzle according to my unscientific tape, and appears to be a straight, non-tapered bull. This is a heavier profile than the tapered barrels I have seen on the 452 Varmints. Trigger is not particularly good. This is a typical CZ issue and there are shim kits and replacements available to rectify the problem. Overall fit/finish is great. High quality piece for the money. I like the Tacticool stock, it fits me well. Not in the same league as the Manners on the PT model, but as you can see, also much less expensive. Rifle is not as heavy as the PT model. It actually seems very portable to me. You could make it heavy, if that's what you want, by adding steel rings/mounts, heavy scope, bipod (yes, there's an extra stud for it), stock pack, etc. I plan to keep mine more on the portable side. Again, don't assume the 5 stars mean it is also accurate, I haven't shot it yet so can't say one way or the other. But I'll be surprised if it is a CZ that won't shoot.
