Good for the price. Good the design.

Awesome deal on a .40 I have a Beretta 92FS and a 92S. This pistol is made by Girsan which was a contractor for Beretta and supplied most of the internals. This is a high quality pistol that I would have confidence in daily carry. The new price is shocking, since I paid less than $300 on this site just a couple months ago.

Great pistol, good price, just buy it, nice range pistol, very accurate, 200 rounds thru it, and no jams at all.

What a value! First the gun is beautiful. That classic Beretta look with the exposed slide. It is also very accurate. I fired 100rds of range ammo at 25ft with a 5” grouping. When switching to home defense match grade loads the grouping decreased to 2” at the same distance. Bud’s did a great job getting it shipped in two days. This firearm is a GREAT deal for under $300 and a nice addition to anyone’s collection.

Overall: This is a fantastic Beretta-96 clone. I used to have the Taurus 96 clone also in .40SW, the PT-101, but I believe Taurus stopped producing it. So when I saw this Chiappa I figured I wasn't gambling much by getting it at the amazing $277 price. The Taurus version used to jam on me pretty frequently, probably 1 round per 30 fired; but this Chiappa has had NO problems whatsoever. I'm beyond impressed. At this price there's no reason not to own this weapon. It comes with a hard-case, two magazines, an oil bottle, 2 barrel brushes in brass and plastic, and a push rod. Parts: Like a production-line Beretta, this Chiappa has some polymer (plastic) parts including 1) recoil guide rod, 2) safety lever assembly, 3) trigger, and 4) magazine release assembly, but you can replace these with Beretta-made metal parts if you want. The Beretta 92/96 series ALSO comes stock with these parts in polymer, so this is not a disadvantage compared to an actual Beretta. It does work with Beretta magazines (9mm and .40 magazines, they are interchangeable). Function and accuracy: Everything is machined well, fit/finish is tight, springs are strong, nothing at all different from a real Beretta. Perfectly accurate. I'm not sure what the ad means by "adjustable sights," the front sight is a solid piece of the slide and can't be adjusted. The rear sight doesn't seem to have any adjustment features, but it CAN be removed/replaced, it isn't molded to the slide.

I love Bud's Gun Shop number one I'm in Chicago I no longer going to deal with anybody but buds and the 40 caliber Chiappa that I bought from them is identical to the Beretta and half the price I just want to thank Bud's Gun Shop for Quality guns and low prices

Recently purchased this gun it shoots and functions awesome very accurate right out the box however the finish on the end of gun by barrel and slide started to chip and peel just from running two magizines through firearm at range after picking up from my ffl don't think I got a well inspected one quality control dropped the ball maybe your luck might be better if purchasing one for yourself

Absolutely love this pistol. It's very accurate. Heavy which I like and fun to shoot. Almost an exact clone of the Beretta but not as expensive. The grips are superb and being all steel is an added bonus. Take down is quick. Can't say enough about how much I like this gun. Get one and you won't be sorry.

This gun was a total steal! After the ffl transfer my total cost was just under 350. I can't believe I got a pistol this nice for that kind of money. The gun is great. I can tell it's very well made and I'm sure it's every bit as good as the beretta 96 it's imitating. It shoots right on point. For this piece you get way more than what you pay for!

Got my gun about a week ago and it is amazing. Put around 400 rounds through without a single jam, FTF, or FTE. Very gorgeous gun and very smooth. Buds delivery was fast and very easy with their certified FFL.
