I have moved up in weight from my Glock 19 for the last five years. I am a big guy and have been more comfortable and accurate with each gain in weight. I have not taken this bad boy to the range yet but it is a beautiful gun and the heaviest that I now own, and it is a Sig! You can do the math! Buds layaway program is easy to use and the shipping was super fast after my last payment. I would love it if Buds could find some way of qualifying the appropriate credit worthy buyers to be able to stary a shoot now pay in 90 days program. I would also love it if they had an auto payment option in the layaway program. Great gun great company is the bottom line!!!

This is one of two SIG P226 MK25 pistols that I own. The other differs only in that it has a threaded barrel. Both of them are great handguns. Smooth shooting, accurate, reliable with all of the 115gr and 124gr ball and hollow-point ammo I've run through them. I've even run remanufactured TMJ ammo without any problems at all. I took a day-long defensive shooting course with my MK25, dropped many magazines in the sand and dirt, and the gun continued to perform without problems all day long. The double-action trigger pull is heavier than some other handguns, but it is smooth and provides superb safety for a carry or duty gun. I did eventually add the SIG short-reset trigger to both my MK25s, and it's a nice, simple upgrade that improves follow-up shots without sacrificing the safety of the DA/SA system. All-around solid pistol.

What an amazing handgun! I fully trust this firearm with my life, smooth shooter, accurate, and absolutely dependable. Been out 4 times with the MK 25 and have put 1200 rounds through it without any hiccup. Shoots everything from cheap steel to high-end defensive ammo all the same. Bud’s had this $200 cheaper than I could find it in any store (it has since gone up but still worth the money). Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, it’s a shame the SEALs switched to the Glock 19.

This is just a beautiful gun. It came with a Sig Sauer Certificate of Authinticity. It was blemish free. It feels awesome in your hand but I do not plan on ever shooting it. I know some may not like that but I have other P226’s and P229’s to shoot.

It’s a good gun. It came to my FFL really quick too so that’s cool.

Buds is always great and smooth. As for the gun, it is perfect, came as described. Very smooth DA trigger pull, flawless function. Eats all types of ammo, and is a tack driver. My 3rd MK25. What a addiction

Purchased this sidearm partly for sentimental reasons, as a 23 year Navy veteran. It has lived up to every accolade those I know who have shot it have given it. Outstanding weapon in all respects. Minor issue: When I put it on the 180 day Budsgun layaway plan the price was almost $200 more than they list it for now. Bad timing, I guess.

This is an awesome weapon. I have only shot it one time, putting about a 150 rounds through it. Started to loosen up toward the end of shooting. In beginning the ejection of shells were just barley making it out of weapon. Towards the end seem to be ejecting in a normal trajectory. Super easy to field strip to clean. Hits dead on where ever you aim. I shot between 10' and 110 yards, didn't matter still hit where I aimed. I checked local gun shops and different sites on-line, Buds has the best price by far. I definitely recommend this gun.

As a first time firearm purchase, I was not expecting too much. I have to admit, this one was very easy to handle, clear, load, and fire. Within the first clip at the range, I was putting them in a nice tight group and could control it very easily. With a little practice, I think I'll be VERY accurate with this. It has a solid feel, no rattles or looseness at all. It is a very solid and smooth shooting weapon. I am looking forward to working with it for many years!

I've had my P226 MK25 for about 9 mos, and it by far is my favorite semi-auto to shoot. I love the fit and finish of every Sig product I've ever seen, and the MK25 is no exception. I find it to be a little on the heavy side, but the balance is absolutely wonderful! Also, it's full size makes it difficult (at least from my perspective) to use as a CCW, but I wouldn't hesitate to use it in an open carry situation, paired with some quality JHP ammo. Finally, the MK25 is as accurate as its operator - I am by no means a marksman, but I can easily plink 12" steel silhouettes (in fairly rapid fire order) at 25 yards w/the MK25. I would highly recommend the P226 MK25 to anyone who appreciates a smooth operating semi-auto, that is an absolute joy to shoot. The price point may turn some folks away, but for me it has been worth every penny.

Smooth shooting, accurate and feels great in the hand. This is my favorite pistol to take to the range. Per the usual, Buds made the purchase quick and easy, had it in hand the same week.

This is a terrific gun.. everything I expected. I know some guys knock this gun for not having the Short Reach Trigger kit installed but this a fighting gun. If SHTF the fine motor skills needed to take advantage of the short reset are out the window.. Trigger is smooth and predictable out of the box and has smoothed out even more as I break it in. The slight undercut on the trigger guard really changes the balance on the gun, it feels more like a 229.. I liked this gun so much that I jumped on the RMR version when I saw it on sale..

Sig sauer p226 mk 25 great gun alot of fun to shoot I've shot over 250 rds through it so far. This is my favorite pistol I own and it's very accurate I'm very happy with my purchase and with buds. Ordered it Wednesday and picked it up Friday very fast shipping

One of the best guns I have ever owned. I bought a Sig P226 Stainless Elite about four weeks ago. That gun was great. It turned me into a Sig Sauer Fan boy for sure. I was looking at a few Sigs including a P229, but decided to get this one. With the Navy Seals switching to the Glock 19, was not sure how much longer Sig would be selling the gun anymore My Next purchase should be the Gi Sauer P229 Legion series. Great gun if you are even thinking of getting one get it. With the election around the corner you might be stuck with a MK-25D and Ten round magazines.

This is one of those pistol that after you have one you have to have one. This is a lesson I learned the hard way when I traded my first MK25 away. Since that day my collection, just felt empty. So this is my second MK25, and it is just as I remembered. This is one of those pistols that make you seem like a better shooter than you really are. The action is butter smooth and much of the recoil is taken up by the frame so you can be back on target faster. If there is one drawback of this gun is that it's very hard to find a properly fitting holster due the M1913 standard picatinny rail. After some research I have found a holster does indeed exist. It is the Safariland 7TS 7378-477-551 ALS which comes in black, and FDE.

My wife got this, for me, for my 50th birthday. This is my first Sig gun. I realy like everthing about the gun. I put 50 rounds through it yesterday with NO issues at all. NO jams,shoot great. Very smooth action and very accurate out of the box. Thanks Buds for the quick survice.

I shot this yesterday along with 4 other new pistols. Out of the box this is the most accurate pistol I've ever owned. Smooth as butter too. Actually smooth doesn't give it enough credit. I'm now considering shifting over to strictly Sig handguns for future purchases. Fit and finish are awesome. This my 3rd Sig pistol. As always Buds is the place to shop!

This gun is everything you read about it and more. I am not the most experienced guy out there but I think this is as close to perfection as you can get. Feels perfect and is more accurate than I am, incredible weapon.....If your putting this purchase off because of it's price DON'T it's worth every penny. I have shopped every where for this gun and Buds is the best deal hands down. Love the gun and Buds always does me right. Thank you Buds for a great deal and thank you Sig for an incredible weapon.

This was my second Bud's purchase and shipping was a little longer than the first but still reasonable. As for the pistol this is my third P226 but my first MK25. I couldn't be more pleased. Fit, finish and function are superb and this has quickly became my favorite pistol. I have fired well over 500 rounds with zero malfunctions. The night sights are fantastic and the triggered is excellent. NOTHING bad to say. It's a SIG for crying out loud, save up and order it.

This is a sweet handgun! I was apprehensive at first about getting this over a standard P226 but I loved the fde and the 1913 rail. I ordered the SRT trigger kit ($50) and wow has it changed the gun! There is hardly any movement before you hit the reset. The gun is tack driver accurate. I also ordered a couple of the 18-round mags made by Mec Gar and they are basically flush fitting. Its a great handgun but its up to you to decide if it's worth $900+. It sure is fore me!

This has quickly become my favorite pistol. Fit and finish is flawless, trigger is crisp in both DA and SA, and the sights are fantastic. The color is a shade darker than the image, but I'm fine with that. The gun shipped fast (ordered on a Sunday, picked it up at my local FFL Thursday afternoon), the order matched line for line with the website description, and the price was the best I've seen after months of shopping around for this gun. There's not much more I could ask for. I got the gun out to the range last weekend, put 200 rounds of Remington UMC through it without a single malfunction. Shot a ragged hole at 7 yards, every time, as long as i did my part. The added weight of an all metal gun makes the recoil very easy to manage as well.
