Savage has a winner in the Axis line. Many a hog has been taken with these rifles right out of the box.

This has been a great rifle for harvesting coyotes. It's also good for deer hunting as long as your shot placement is spot on. That's just my opinion concerning harvesting deer with a .243. I know there are folks who will tell me that's all they hunt deer with. You won't get an argument from me. Savage makes great rifles and this one is no exception. I have harvested many coyotes and a few deer with this setup. I have a few more Savages under my belt that I use. Great rifles/shotguns.

Accurate straight out of the box! For the value, this is an excellent rifle for the beginner or experienced hunter.

A real bargain at 350.00. Very accurate, and with the trigger adjusted it is light and crisp. It is amazing to get an adjustable trigger for this price.The scope isn't great but will get the job done for now.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Its light and shot accurate right out of the box. Will definitely order from Bud's from now on.
