If you're looking at this gun, chances are you've already done some research before you got to this point. And like many have already said. This is a great gun. The only real downside to this gun is the price of spare mags. The gun fits the hands great, shoots great. The sights picture is amazing. Everything is very smooth (except that first DA trigger pull). I really admire the spring in the slide. That is exceptionally smooth and makes cycling and follow up shots even easier. I will say to be sure of which model of this gun you're getting. There is a difference between the Jericho 941 and the Baby Desert Eagle. Specifically the location and function of the safety. On the 941 it is on the frame, and only acts as a safety. On the Baby Eagle it's located on the slide and doubles as an ambidextrous decocker. I went with the 941 because I did not like the slide mounted safety. The gun already has a shorter (height wise) slide because of the inner rail design so there's not as much real-estate to grab onto in order to rack it. Not to say the rail design is bad, but I was losing space I felt would be better to have. I also went with the polymer version of the gun because the extra weight of a steel frame didn't seem warranted. Steel is there for people who prefer it, and the extra weight would help with recoil. But, you're not gaining much with it except more weight to carry around.

Thanks Buds on your usual fast service and assistance. Just received my new Jericho 941 PL9. What a wonderfully made gun. I carried a Glock 23 40cal. for last 15 years, on and off duty. I've tried very hard to find something wrong with the IWI gun but there's nothing to tell. It surpasses the Glock in every area I can come up with, smoothest shooting action I've seen. The CZ75 type slide and a little Dessert Eagle look to it makes this one beautiful gun. Also the gun is a dead on shooter.
