As always customer service was fantastic along with quick shipping. I have only put about 120 rounds through it with zero jams. I love the option of green or red dot which makes it easy to shoot in all lighting. Pretty darn accurate up to 100 yards, after that you get a few strays from center. Overall you will not be disappointed especially for the price. I would recommend to anyone getting their first AR.

Finally got a chance to put through 100 rounds through it yesterday and am very happy with my purchase. This is my first AR so I wanted one that was simple, reliable, and (relatively) inexpensive and S&W checked all three. The trigger pull was smooth and steady and the gun feels just heavy enough to reinforce the fact that it is well made. It took me 5 pairings to sight in the Crimson Trace red dot and once I had it set I was center target every shot. I did buy a Magpul MOE M Lok hand guard as well as the MOE stock with my purchase and swapped them out as soon as I got them as I had read that the OEM were on the cheap end and was glad I did. Out of the box the hand guard looked more plastic than polymer where as the MOE has an aluminum shield inset to reduce heat. The stocks are virtually identical with the exception of a rubber fitting on the MOE where it meets your shoulder. Not sure if that was worth 40$ but I still like it. The red dot is a great addition though there is zero magnification. I’m in my 40s so target shooting past 50 yards with it will be a challenge but plinking should be no problem at distance. Not an issue as I plan on investing in a scope in the summer anyway. I’m so glad I bought this gun and had a great time shooting it...very pleased with the craftsmanship and performance.
