Does this also come equipped with the low-profile manual thumb safety? The model number seems to indicate it's standard based on the Springfield website but not shown in the picture. Thanks!

NO, this model does NOT come equipped with the low-profile manual thumb safety. That model just comes out recently so it will take some time to enter the market. I hope this helps

I heard about Bud's gun shop from the Hickok45 youtube channel, so when I went shopping for a Hellcat (11+1) with the optic I decided to check out the web-site. The price and customer service is great! They went as far as to price match for me! I received my pistol from my local FFL dealer without a problem whatsover. As you can see fully loaded (1lb 7.1oz) / 23.1 oz! You can't beat that! Especially with the 11 rd flush fit magazine. The optic was not too bad to install, I used a boresighter to dial it in until I got to the range. I put about 200 rounds through it, and felt there was a room for improvement. I went ahead and got the aftermarket Apex enhancement trigger installed, and let me tell you. After about another 200 rounds, Night and day!!! I now have fist size groupings at 25 yds!

Absolutely love this little gun. Is it a bit snappy? Yes, due to it's size. But concealabilty is also the reason we're looking at these in the first place. The sights will take a little getting used to as they are a U vs the traditional 3 dot, but it's just different. No big deal with practice. As far as the optic- a couple of issues here. The top plate is tough to get off of the gun, and you do not get a tool included to remove it with. It wasn't a typical Allen wrench either; it has a star shape so be careful not to strip it. The rest of the install is easy; however the battery goes directly underneath. This means that you'll need to remove the optic and re-sight it every time you need a new battery. I wish it would have a side release like some of the Holosun sights have; it would be a lot less of a hassle. Overall this is a great little gun. I prefer it to the P365 due to capacity and grip, but I don't think you can go wrong with either- it's a matter of personal preference.

Received the Hellcat for a great price and quickly considering it is a hard to get pistol. Service was great. Had a chance to put a few boxes though the gun and it surpassed all my expectations.

The Hellcat feels great in your hand until you actually use it. It has a lot of recoil there is a space between the gun and on of the magazines that pinches my finger when I use it. Yes I made sure the msg was always in. When I saw it at a show I was super excited to get it. Now eh.. Accurate but uncomfortable to shoot.
