Windham states "We use M16 carriers in every gun we sell except the guns that go to the ban compliant states. The ones that go to the compliant states are AR style carriers". If I live in a non ban state (VT) can I be assured I will get a M16 carrier?

Yes. The restricted state rifles are clearly marked. I would still hold Buds accountable upon ordering to ensure you do not get a restricted state rifle as some of the descriptions are vague.

Purchased this firearm about 2 months ago, I won't review anything until I fire it. Took it home, wiped it down and put the iron sights on it. Fit and finish are excellent, no wobble, on gaps between the upper and lower receiver. I fired 3, 30 round mags through it and no problems, ammo isn't cheap, lol. One big reason I choose this was the factory tour that MAC ( military arms channel) did. Bottom line great quality at an exceptional price.

Rifle is as expected, very nice!! Cannot go wrong with Windham Weaponry. Shoots great, looks great, upper and lower very tight, came lubed, very happy with my SRC, fast shipping from Buds. Will be ordering all my firearms from Buds in the future!! Only negative was it didnt have the american flag on the lower receiver as i had seen on other Windhams, not sure which ones have that, but otherwise perfect!
