Upper Receiver broke while shooting it at the Range. To me it only seems like it likes CC'ing amok other brands don't feed wright. It's a okay Gun for price. If I knew what I know now I would've have bought so happy I also bought lifetime warranty. I hope everything goes smooth on buds Gun shop behalf.

Lets just say that the pictures are better than the gun. It is very cheaply built and it is over priced for what it is. I write a lot of gun reviews and please trust me on this. Just save your more for a better gun. I have had many loading issues with this with many different brands of ammo.

I bought this pistol back in November 2014 and have put over 500 rounds through it at the firing range and I love it. To me it us AWESOME! I paid 232.00 back then and for the money you can't go wrong. The only thing is the 22 rounds are sometimes hard to find. I have had only a couple miss fires other then that the pistol fires great! Buds is the only online gun shop that I buy my firearms from and will in the future. You guys at Buds are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Two pistols up!!!!!!!!! Thank You Buds!!!

This is the second one of these I have purchased here. Bud's sells three versions of this pistol. This one with two 10 round mags, one with two 28 round mags, and one with two 28 round mags and a red dot. I previously bought the one with that came with the red dot. See my review of that one, as all of the same "fixes" apply to this one. I will only go over the differences (good and bad). The 10 round mags are identical to the 28 round mags with the exception of a small pin that limits the number of rounds that can go in. The pin is easily removed for those that live in states with no mag capacity limits. That makes this one a better buy. Unlike the previous one (see the other review), this one had no signs of peening on the chamber area. so that was one less thing to have to fix. Out of the box (after cleaning), I ran 3 full mags through it and only had a few stovepipes (something I did not have a problem with on the other one). After doing a comparison of the bolt assemblies, I noticed that the extractor on this one did not grab the rim as firmly as the other one. I am not going to go into how to disassemble the bolt, but for those that can figure it out, I removed just a little material from the inside of the extractor where it rests against the front of the bolt. This allows it to pivot a bit more and have a firmer grip on the rim. The stovepipes went away. Another issue I did not mention in the other review is the barrel tends to be loose even out of the box . To tighten it, just turn the barrel shroud until it's tight, but don't over do it since the upper is polymer. Don't worry if the rails don't line up. Next loosen the torex screw on each of the four rails that is closest to the upper. You can then rotate the shroud until the rails line up again, and tighten the screws back up. I will also mention that the rear "rail" thing that covers the buffer tube hole can be removed and one can use a standard buffer tube and a Sig brace. To remove it, you remove the take-down pin the same way you would remove the front pin. Then remove the detent pin from the hole. Now turn the gun muzzle down so the spring falls forward into the hole. Behind the spring is another pin that keeps that rear cap from rotating. Once the spring pressure is removed, you can just unscrew the cap. Keep in mind that this is a cheaply made gun, so it is going to take a little bit of work to get it running 100%. But For just over $200, this can be a good shooting gun with just a little bit of effort.

I purchased a Chiappa M4-22 pistol for my son. It arrived as advertised in excellent shape. I took my son to the range a ran about 500 rounds through it with only one jam, which was due to a magazine loading issue. I took the gun with me on a road trip to my Uncle and he and I fired 250 rounds through it without any problems. I absolutely love the gun!

Don't waste your money Gun does not feed or eject shells. I have to ship back to chiappa & they say it will take up to 3 months to fix. Invest in something that will work. I am disgusted. Frank

I have purchased several guns from Buds, all excellent transactions, but this latest, Chiappa M4 pistol, is a real 'fun' weapon. This is a nice weapon, cheap to shoot and really entertaining. Bud's always delivers, but the weapon is so neat I am reviewing both. Thanks Chiappa and Bud,s! I have had cause to contact Chiappa and found them to be extremely helpful and prompt. Again thanks to all.
