Yes you can run 2¾" shells in a 3" chamber, but the reverse is not so no 3" shells in a 2¾" chamber, but this is a 3' chamber so your good to go

Is this weapon compliant in NYS? I believe a 5 round clip is fine, but not sure if this is considered a pistol grip? Also, I’m a lefty, never lost an eyeball using an M14 (many moons ago) and I don’t think there should be a problem with this one. Not sure why they even sell left handed rifles. Thanks = Tim

Tim, This semi auto shotgun is not NY compliant. Too many NY state restricted features. Best way to see if a firearm you are looking at is compliant is to ask your local FFL. They will let you know if it is compliant in your municipality.
