Kyle, Yes this Austrian made Glock model PA1950203DE has the half moon in front of the flared magwell and the Gen 5 magazines that come with this firearm have the horizontally extended floor plate to grip and tear out of half moon opening.

Picked up this gen 5 Glock 19, to replace my very old ccw, and took it out a few days later to shoot it. Other than a few failures to feed caused by user errors this pistol was a pleasure to shoot and performed as well, if not better, than it was promised to.

First of all the service from Bud’s was fantastic as usual. As for the pistol, this is my second Glock, both Gen 5. My first, the 19 MOS felt great. Shot great. This one shoots great, doesn’t feel as good. The ding I’m giving it is for that half moon cut out on the grip. It digs into my finger just enough to be noticeable. Probably will have to get a magwell to cover it up.

Comparing this to my Gen3 19 it’s pretty nice. Stock trigger feels a lot nicer then the Gen3 and the Gen4. At first the slide seemed extra stiff, but after about 1,000 rounds it loosened up nicely. A Glock is a Glock is a Glock, ya know? I do really enjoy the lack of finger grooves on the front of the grip. The grip feels like it has slightly more bite to it in a good way, but I still felt the need to get it stippled. Still felt the need to get a plug for that space in the mag well.
Recommendation: If you have a Gen4 19. You might as well get something else as there really is super small differences between the two, but if you have a Gen3 then I would say it’s definitely worth exploring.
Do I still prefer my custom Nomad 9 with a Norsso slide, yes. But only because it fits my hand better and allows me to control it more easily.
But when in doubt, Glocks are boringly reliable.

As expected! Carried a Glock 19 gen 3 off and on for years in OD green frame. This handgun is great for CCW of course. Ran a bit over 500rnds through it last Sat with zero issues. If even ate that shitty Winchester forged steel cased with no issues. Something my Sig P365 couldn't do. Pick one of these up before the left wing lunatics pull show their asses.

I love the FDE finish of this and the simplenest of the gun. This is my first Glock btw. Only problem i a having is it shoots all over compared to my other pistols. My groupings are screwed up. Maybe its the ammo though since ive only tried one brand.

Easy purchase, and Bud's mailed it quickly to my local FFL. The G19 came with 3 mags, a plus, as I was thinking I would only receive 2. The end of the slide is beveled for easier holstering they say, but I like it for the look. The receiver is also beveled to match the receiver. I beleive that on earlier Gen 5 G19s that the receiver was not beveled, but that has been changed to this present configuration. I do like the trigger action better than my G19 Gen 4, not as much trigger travel. I really like the Flat Dark Earth color of the plastic receiver. It along with the black slide makes for a good looking pistol. I am looking forward to taking it to the range, and have no doubt it will be as dependable as my other Glock.
