First thing I wanna say about this rifle is this is not some cheapo $500 AR first thing you will notice it's heavy this isn't your Glock it's not plastic your dog can't eat it that being said I love this rifle everything is so we'll made on it it runs flawlessly I'd recommend cmmg to anyone with extra money to spend that being said the ripstock is metal and has no limbsaver not that there is much for recoil out of this just a bit uncomfortable in the shoulder but it's alot of fun to fast tactical vary easy to breakdown no tools required unless you want to change the slingplate around the buffer tube requires standard AR tool to do it right for the castle but if your thing about getting this and you know what your doing buy it if your new to AR platforms I suggest you get into a $500 AR to start with learn your way up you can always customize your way to an elite AR later but this rifle is alot of fun
