I purchased this 20 gauge Savage 220 with thumbhole stock and could not be more pleased. I was initially impressed with the shotgun's "fit and finish" including the beautiful Boyds laminated thumbhole stock. I measured the trigger pull to be a consistent 3 1/2 pounds which is perfect for me. I mounted a 2-7X Nikon slug scope on top and zeroed it with Remington 2 3/4" Accutips (I also tested it with 3" Accutips). This slug gun is very accurate, giving groups under 2" at 100 yards.

Very great gun to shoot! Cuts bullet holes at 100 yards. Recoil is as to expected. Handles the 3" federal sabots nicely. Great gun. Shipping was fast and painless.
