This riffle with some 220 grain rounds and a suppressor is a super quite combo. Added a sig whiskey scope to it. Gun is accurate and light even with the heavy barrel. Bolt is gritty but trigger is smooth. The only downfall is the proprietary mag limited to 3 rounds.

So far no issues with this gun other than the bolt is tight, but it is new and after a little oil and use it is getting better. Shoots nice groups. Purchased for the threaded barrel for my suppressor, works great!

This is a cool little gun great for the suppressed game. Also makes a good truck firearm. The stock is cheap just like all the axis basic stock and the action is a full length action with a stop just in case you decide to change the scope mount.

Buds was great, problem starts with this rifle. The rifles outward appearance is great, trigger is great, and has good feature set. That is where the good ends. First problem, is that the bolt was extremely tight to the action, had to take some emery cloth to the bolt head and clean the excess paint off of the bolt, then it worked fine. Magazine is very poor, poor fitment, and this lead to the next issue. The feeding problems. The idea was to have this as a little deer rifle, as where I hunt you rarely ever get a shot more than 100 yards. Mind you the intension is to use this as a nice, light weight, compact hunting rifle. Easy platform to suppress. When loading a round if the rifle was not laying upright and perfectly level the round would not load, there is a huge gap between the ramp by the mag to the face of the barrel, about half an inch. This makes this rifle useless for my intended purpose. The round would pop to the side or straight up, and had to be mindful of each load and reload. It seems like that Savage just used short action bolt and action to accommodate the 300aac and this is not a compromise. Lastly again with the mags, if Savage would have just tried to use AR style mags this would have made the platform better. I suggest to close the gap on the action, then fix the mag issue and this rifle would be a decent little rig. Until fixed save your money and buy a Ruger American Predator in 300aac that can you AR mags, this is what I did, Sold this one and bought a Ruger and I am much happier. Buy once, cry once.

As soon as I find a couple of rounds of ammo I am going to thoroughly and completely shoot it at least 3 times. Hope I hit paper on the first round or my kids might not be going to college. What am I thinking, they are not going to make it into a college so that money is available. Got to get at least 2 rounds of 300BLK per semester of tuition saved.

Buds service , always phenomenal, goes without saying. That said....the Rifle itself has one glaring problem. It does not eject shells..period, ever. When I draw the bolt back, the shell just lays there in the action just behind the chamber. Trigger is great, accuracy is ok, but it's basically a single shot. I should have bought the Ruger and paid the extra 85.00 for the ejection feature.. I haven't decided if I just write this off , or have a local gunsmith look at it. I've never returned a gun to the manufacturer as this is like taking my car to the mechanic who screwed it up prior.

Solid little rifle. Great trigger. Rail is nice and long enough to greatly adjust eye relief. Heavier than I had anticipated but it’s still lighter than the full length Savage 10 in .308. Groups were great. Very consistent trigger pull. I got this for my wife who has a hard time with full length barrels as she is just under 5’. Over all very pleased. I haven’t taken it out past 100yds and I honestly don’t plan to since we don’t have any lanes past 85yds. My moderately experienced wife has quarter sized groups at 100yrds with Hornady 190gr Subsonic. Great rifle for the money. (Side note: 300blk out is absolutely devastating inside 100yds.

I received the order in a timely fashion from Buds. However the gun's magazine operated as if it was constructed in a third world country. About six out of ten times I tried to load a cartridge into the chamber the gun jammed. Most shells had to be chambered using a combination of fingers and a pocket knife. I do no recommend anyone buying this product..

Very nice rifle for the money. First trip to the range gave me under 1" groups at about 65 yards, and I am not a great shooter. I plan to hunt with this rifle and it feels like it will serve me well. The service from Bud's was great, with quick delivery and a very good price.
