I was hoping that the rifle would be in original condition but it has been refinished. Haven't shot it yet so can't tell you how this rifle shoots but have shot others in the past and have found them all to give decent accuracy, (keep the bayonet on while shooting or plan on adjusting the sights). This is a very significant example of a fighting rifle that stood the test of time, maybe not the prettiest rifle (beauty is in the eyes of the beholder) but they were known to be tougher than boiled owl.

Very pleased with this rifle. All matching, excellent condition, not counterbored refurb Mosin with accessories, as described. I got a pre-war example. The packaging was loose as it often is with CAI offerings, but I don't blame Buds for it. Very fast shipping. Had to go through customer service to submit the C&R license, but it was smooth.

Wow - this thing is awesome. Took a couple hours to fully disassemble and get all the cosmoline out/off. But it cleaned up beautifully and works flawlessly. A tip on the stock if you buy one, or any of the versions offered by Buds... to remove the cosmo safely from wood furniture, put it out in the sun, after disassembly, and wipe cosmo off every half hour, for two or three hours. Don't use a hair dryer and for goodness sakes, don't put it in your oven. I've seen some horrible advice out there. The sun will do the trick and not warp or ruin your wood. Once it's cleaned up, it'll be as beautiful as it was when it was made. I highly recommend this gun. Accurate, fun to shoot, and I'm still finding ammo on the shelves right now.

Pleasant surprise. It was covered in cosmoline and took a lot of mineral spirits to remove. I was shocked at how great the condition of this rifle was. Stock had a few rub marks where the lower sling keeper attached and two small rust spots on but plate and trigger guard. Had lots to copper residue in barrel not really unexpected. Easy to clean after watching a video. Came with bayonet, tool kit, ammo pouch and oil can. Just wish I had gotten one 20 years ago.
I used a towel as pad when shooting and shoulder is just a little sore. My shooting will need some work but at 100 yards kept a 6 inch pattern. I looked all over for deals on this rifle 's and Bud's had the best deal out there. Even with the search for ammo found it at Bud's and one other place. Will definitely be back here for more stuff. Possibly adding a scope.

Beautiful Rifle no rust at all, surprisingly had a very smooth bolt . caked with cosmaline as expected. bayonet was in good shape. these are truly excellent condition Rifles.

This firearm is in great shape for how old it is. The cosmoline, while everywhere, did it's job in protecting this firearm for so long. Minor surface rust under some of the cosmoline. Came with the extras which was awesome. It has all the markings and seems to be numbers matching. The process of buying has always been rather easy for me. All-in-all I am very happy with this one!

Gun was absolutely in excellent condition. If you are looking for a Nagant just like I was, now is the time to get one with Buds. It was just as advertised. I will be purchasing another through Buds very soon! Very happy with Buds Guns!
