General Description: 3” gas operated, semi-automatic shotgun that allows you to shoot light target loads to heavy waterfowl loads. Action: Gas operated semi-automatic. Bolt remains open after last round is fired. If magazine and chamber are both loaded, opening action will result in ejecting shell from chamber and cycling new shell from magazine into the chamber. If operator desires to unload the chamber only, slightly push lifter up and open action. This cuts the magazine off from cycling a new shell while unloading the chamber. Chamber will remain closed though.
Safety: The primary safety is located on the backside of the trigger guard. When engaged, the safety is designed to block the trigger, hammer lever and the hammer which makes the firing mechanism immobile.
Magazine: Tubular magazine; bottom loading. Shot plug is included and comes installed. Shot plug is easily removable by unscrewing the magazine cap. Simply pull plug out and replace magazine cap.

Very happy with purchase. Only have fired about 20 rounds of 2 1/2 inch #6. No problem, all ejected about 8 feet. On Tristar website, got warning of recall. On further checking serial no. It was corrected before I received gun from Bud's. This is a perfect shotgun for youth or smaller shooter. My wife can now protect her roses from those rabbits. I highly recommend Tristar and Bud's . A+++++

Smooth shooting semi auto 410 that is also reliable. Can't speak to durability as I've only put 700-1000 rounds through it but it's holding up well enough. When I first bought it, it was basically a jam factory bolt action. I stripped it down and ran through my parts washer for a couple hours and assembled it completely clean and never had a malfunction afterwards. Seems typical of import guns to do that. Doesn't like the 3" shells a lot, hasn't jammed on them but they barely flop out of the receiver. The 2 1/2" shells get slung about 15' away which is interesting. Need to find or make an extra full choke for it. Even with a full choke, trap shooting is pretty difficult with no handicap but that is .410 for you. It's a niche filling fun gun more than anything else but I like it.

I had always wanted a semi-auto 410 shotgun, finally decided on the brand. It looked and felt great out of the box So I installed improved choke and shot about 25 rounds at skeet. I'm very happy with this gun. Using 3" ammo, this baby reaches out there Cant wait for Dove season. I highly recommend this brand and Buds. Also how can you go wrong with Buds extended lifetime warranty. This is a great gun.

I ordered the TriStar Viper 410 on Feb 03, it was delivered to me on Feb 06. For the price I would defy anyone to have a better shotgun, This shotgun looks like I could have paid at least twice what I did. When I got it home, I cleaned it and lubed it with Rem oil. Then I proceeded to fire all the different ammo that I had. It never missed a beat with any[ light loads and 3 inch heavy loads] I am totally 100% pleased with it, The finish on the walnut stock is impeccable. the bluing on the metal looks deep. Buds really came through on the shipping, I can't think of anything negative to say. Now I am looking to get a 28 ga, when I do it will be a TriStar Viper from Buds
