Charles Daly 101 28" 12 Gauge Shotgun - 28" Barrel, 1 Round, Wood, 3" Chamber, Walnut Stock

The shotgun came as ordered. Nice little shotgun for the price range. I wanted a single shot 12 ga and this did the job.

When i purchsed this model last year, nl BUDS was great, affordable and fast. My FFL dealer was also great. The shotgun arrived in excellent condition. i hate to be the bearer of bad news but my new scatter gun did not function properly. The 1st shell fired fine. But it took 3 tries to fire again. Pin looked fine, safety wasn't sticking and everything was working properly, it just wasn't firing consistently. And i had 4 different brands and styles of shells on me to see which had the best pattern for an upcoming turkey hunt. Unfortunately it didn't go as I hoped because instead of looking forward to the next shot I was anticipating a click. Needless to say since the gun was still new and under warranty I needed to send it back to get it checked. They we're good about sending me a label to get it shipped back but apparently in there gunsmith was extremely busy and I have yet to receive it back

Quickly became my favorite single shot the changeable chokes make this gun a must have. Buds service was great.

Fails to fire frequently, terrible trigger. Don’t waste your money

This gun is very light so a recoil pad might be something you want to invest in. The trigger is very heavy about 9 pounds, and has a lot of over travel. The wood stock is cheap and will scratch easily. Finally, the take down lever is very stiff and takes a lot of force to activate. In contrast, the lockup is tight and it went bang every time I fired. It will also accept a wide range of loads and shells. Perhaps save a little more money and get a better 12ga.
