Traditions Firearms NitroFire VAPR Twist Gray/Mossy Oak Break-Up Country 50 Cal Single Shot Rifle - 26" Barrel, 1 Round

I received the Traditions 50 Cal Nitrofire VAPR twist with scope from Bud's the week before muzzleloader season, I checked the scope with my bore sight and it seemed dead on target. I fired one shot from a rest at 50 yards and it was in the 1" bullseye. I hunted with my grandson who used it and shot a doe the first day that dropped within 5 yards and he shot an 8 point buck the next day that dropped within 10 yards. I am impressed with the accuracy right out of the box. Traditions staff did an excellent job with scope alignment. Using the 100 grain Firestick and Hornady 50 Cal sabot w/45 Cal 250 GR SST-ML seems to be a great combination with plenty of knock down power. The breech loading of the Firestick is a great advance. No need to shoot this muzzleloader to unload it like I have to do with my other muzzleloader rifle. It also is well balanced. Finally, the clean up is easier and faster with the open breech and less powder residue with the Firestick. I would buy this rifle again in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed. Jim from KY
