Very nice high-polished Talo exclusive from Buds. I bought this to be a practical shooter at the range and not put the wear on my Pre-war SAA. I am very happy with this revolver. Its looks beautiful and fulfills your cowboy shooting urges! It breaks down easy for cleaning and seems durable like most Ruger firearms. There were a few very minor areas on the polish job but they could easily be buffed out. For the money you’re not paying 2 to three times as much for a fancy SAA reissue, and this gun is designed to take the stress of shooting lots of rounds. The grips are very unique with fancy carving and adds to the gun.

I bought 2 of these to use in Cowboy Action Shooting. They are strong and accurate. Standard operating procedure for this type of revolver is that the front sights are tall from the factory, so that they can be filed down to zero the point of impact to the point of aim with the load that you marry up to the revolver. The only other thing that I did was to make bigger grip panels for both revolvers to fit my gorilla size hands.

Fast shipping as always with Buds. Revolver arrived in perfect condition. Took it out a few days later and ran a multitude of ammo through it; both 38 special and 357 magnum. No issues at all with any of it. This isn't my first Ruger single action either so I'm kind of biased. Recoil was easily managed with 357; hardly noticeable with 38 special. This gun has a great feel and balance to it. You won't be sorry.

This gun is simply a work of art. Pictures don’t do it justice. The precision sounds of the action and rotating cylinder are almost as enjoyable as shooting it. Very accurate with enough heft to shoot .357s as fast as you can work the smooth action. Appearance is faithful to the original Colts but mechanically the Vaquero is far superior. Bud’s has the best prices and service around.

Absolute best SAA clone on the market. Fit is tight, finish is gorgeous, and everything operates smoothly. Work could be done if you feel the need on the trigger, but I feel no reason for it. It will get better over time. Grips are AMAZING. Will look into getting a matching revolver. Buds was perfect as usual.

Just a fantastic single action, not only in function but looks. The grips have to be seen in person. My local dealer where I had it shipped was very impressed with the gun and grips - and this is mostly a tactical place that doesn't carry anything like this. Function and accuracy were great with sights right on. I traded a Uberti for this and the Ruger beats it in every way. Most surprising is that Bud's isn't even asking a premium for this special edition over other Vaqueros.

Don't know as of yet as I live in California and they are making it nearly impossible to purchase a firearm. But I did see it and it is looks just like the old western guns. Just what I wanted.

Shoots like a champs!!! Was a wonderful feeling being at the range with my buddies and we were shooting 9mm and 22lr, then to pull this haus out and everybody stops what they are doing to look at me because of the loud boom and power coming from this gun. It was priceless!!! Shoots well, feeds all different types of ammo. Definitely cannot go wrong with this Ruger. P.S. The only issue that I have is within 2 weeks the cylinder wring started showing around the cylinder, and I know the way to load it without it supposedly doing that. I had been under the impression from other reviews that because of the way Ruger makes there single actions it prevents the cylinder ring around the cylinder. I was sadly mistaken. However this is a common rule of the game with single action revolvers so it is not a biggie, just would have been nice to know for sure before I bought it.
