I was somewhat concerned the 139 gr. bullet would not perform well in my 1908 Brazilian short rifle. These groups were shot off of a benchrest using the open iron sights. Overall, I was quite pleased with this ammunition. On a better day (it was a cold, cloudy, drizzly windy day and I'll confess my 64 year old eyes struggle with the open irons) I am fairly confident that I could get this rifle and ammunition to shoot 2- 2.5" MOA. Pleased enough that I ordered 3 more boxes today.

I own 2 7mm Mausers. I killed my first white tail when I was 16 with my dad's mauser which he passed to me. I bought another one 6 years ago. I bought 4 boxes of PPU 7mm 139gr from buds. With both mauser's I was getting 4-5" spreads at 100 yards. At 200 yards I'm getting 8-10" spreads. I burned through 2 boxes trying to zero these in. I have a 200 yards shooting range on my farm with a covered / concrete padded shooting station w/ two range benchs. Both were held in a Caldwell Shooting rest. After I was done I threw the other two boxes away. To compare, I was seeing 1-2" spreads at 200 yards with my Savage 110 .243 and my Remington 788 .243 on the same day. I was not using PPU with those.

considering the current pandemic situation and the very sudden demand on firearms and ammunition, I was generally satisfied with this overall experience. Satisfied with the product and accuracy of the order. Satisfied with the shipping and packaging. NOT happy that the cost was deducted WEEKS prior to shipping. A little more coordination in this area would be appreciated.
