The Savage MKII FVSR .22 LR 16.5" is an excellent shooting rifle. I ran an assortment of rounds through it without any jams. The finish of the rifle is good. The excellence service Buds provides keeps me coming back and purchasing through them.

Pleasantly surprised with quality of this piece... Standard velocity bulk CCI printed a nickel sized group on initial outing. Should do better after it is broke in and I'm more familiar with it. Super quiet with CCI quiet ammo and a silencerco sparrow

Shoots same hole at 50 yards with Aguila 40 grain. Very Happy with my purchase.

I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. The rifle is everything I expected and more. The trigger is better then some of my more expensive rifles. Bud's was great to work with everything arrived promptly with no issues.

I absolutely love this varmit rifle it is very lightweight and with the adjustable trigger it is very accurate. The price was also right from Buds.

This .22 is a rack driver, put a cheap Barska scope on it and absolutely love it, not to mention the gator camo stock looks really cool. Once again with Buds excellent service.

Thumbs up again to Bud's, got this rifle when they had the Savage 50.00 mail in rebate. Dropped a cheap scope on it from amazon and soon after I was hitting 1/2" groups at 100 yrds with no problem at all, even had the wife shooting the same groups as mine at an all day outdoor range session. The plastic stock stock seems a little gimmicky, but I think should hold up well if you plan on using this rifle as a woods gun. The bolt has a smooth action to it with no grit or grinding at all, and we now have several hundred rounds through it with no problems. The threaded barrel is a nice plus if you want to run a silencer. Be-aware some ammo like Winchester white box did cause some bolt hang-ups a few times, but other ammo like Federal champion and FIOCCHI were smooth as silk. Overall, very happy happy with this rifle and I guess I will be buying another one as my wife has taken this one over as her gun!!!!!!!!!!
