• Q: Is this really a double action only? Not DA/SA ??

  Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 have a trigger pull of around 5.5 pounds. This is considered a double action only but its a striker fired pistol so theres really no such thing as a dao striker fired pistol. From what Ive read these have pretty good triggers with Nice light crisp trigger pulls. Hope this helps.

  Janet, this gun does not have a manual thumb safety. The pistol does have a trigger safety, an internal safety, and a drop safety. The trigger safety and the trigger itself must be deliberately depressed at the same time. The trigger safety is designed to prevent the pistol from firing if it’s dropped or if the trigger is subjected to any pressure that isn’t a direct firing pull.
