The APX Centurion pistol extends the proven APX Series to a concealed carry friendly mid-size, allowing for the end user to more easily IWB/AIWB carry the APX pistol. APX Centurion features a 15+1* (9MM) or 13+1* (.40S&W) flush fit magazine and can accept the full size APX magazines as well. Adapters available through the Beretta Pro Shop allow for the user to have a “flush” feeling full size magazine as well, allowing the pistol to have similar handling characteristics to the duty size pistol. As with the full size APX, the APX Centurion has been designed specifically for military and law enforcement users who have a need to carry concealed but want similar handling characteristics to their duty pistols. The APX Centurion features an end user removable serialized chassis and can be easily modified with replaceable grip frame housings and is simple to disassemble and maintain. Each APX Centurion comes with 3 interchangeable back straps so users can best fit their hands and preferences. The APX’s aggressive slide serrations make slide manipulations easy under any conditions. To accommodate right or left-handed use, the APX’s magazine release button can be easily reversed, and the slide stop is ambidextrous. The APX Centurion’s trigger breaks at 6lbs and has a clear tactile and audible very short reset. The APX truly is the ultimate striker fired pistol from Beretta. *Where legal. 10 round magazine SKUs available for restricted states.

Incredible pistol at an incredible price. I liked this one so much that I ordered a full-sized version. The APX platform is extremely impressive and Buds remains my only source for new firearms.

Very Nice Product, Right out of the box this Beretta Centurion was spot on. Accurate and just worked. Super simple take down function. The feel of the grip is better than any glock I own. I would recommend this product to anyone. Buds great place to work with.

I recieved this APX very promptly from Buds this is a excellent fire arm it has been flawless at the range as well as accurate I am really happy with this firearm I've ordered the FDE grip and the fiber optic sights as well not to many holsters out there for it but DORA HOLSTERS do offer the kydex well worth the money. LOVE MY APX

First time I shot this pistol I fell in love... Where have you been all my life sweetheart??? As usual Bud's was great too but this Beretta is a dream come true! Weight, balance, trigger all perfect (and accurate to boot). You just can't get any better than perfect which is bad news for my Glock 19 but great for me.

I purchased my first ever Beretta, this APX Centurion, from Bud's when they were having their $40 discount for buying a Beretta. Coupled with the factory Beretta APX $50 rebate this already nicely priced gun became an even better value. As always, Bud's was great to buy from with fast shipping and a very user friendly website. The gun came with a hard plastic box, 3 different size backstraps, mag loader, brush and lock, and all the paperwork. I like that by registering the gun with Beretta the one year warranty is increased to a three year warranty.

After reading some comments and seeing a few videos about how hard it supposedly is to get the slide off the APX while I was waiting for it to arrive I wasn't sure what that would entail. After dropping the magazine I made sure the gun was safe and clear, pulled the trigger, and with my right hand over the top of the slide pushed the right side of the takedown lever with my right hand thumb while flipping the takedown lever on the left side of the frame down with my right hand index finger at the same time. I didn't use the striker deactivation button located at the right rear of the frame as I don't have any issues pulling the trigger on a cleared and verified safe pistol to remove the slide. The slide easily came off and I was glad to see it was as easy as any semi-automatic pistol I have owned to field strip. I lubed the gun according to the manual instructions, put it back together, and was eager to take it out and see how it would perform at the range.

I eventually got a couple of hours to run out to the gun range in 75 degree sunny weather so I took the opportunity. I set up 5, 7, 10, and 15 yard markers on the pistol range and started loading up the magazines. I had three 50 round boxes of 115 grain Winchester, Federal, and Perfecta FMJ factory ammo to fire through the APX. The first thing I noticed was that the texturing on the back on the grip, which feels pretty aggressive when just running a finger over it when it is in a pistol stand, doesn't feel rough at all when being held in my hand or shooting. It helps me get a good solid grip on the gun, but doesn't make it uncomfortable like the texturing on a smaller Kahr CM9 I owned did. The grip size and shape allows me to get a high hold on the gun with my pinky finger settling on the bottom front of the grip and magazine rather than dangling under the mag as with a Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm when it has a 13 round mag in it. I don't have any problems with a two finger grip and dangling pinky on a gun, but this setup felt good also.

The front sight was easy to pick up and the accuracy was really good. I stated working my way back in my distances after getting a sense of how the gun would feel and shoot up close. I had close groupings at the 5, 7, and 10 yard markers. I was in the smaller rings and some good groupings at the 15 yard mark. I went out to 20 yards and didn't do as well, but the rounds were at least on the paper. Part of this may be due to not doing much regular pistol shooting from distances at beyond 15 yards out at our pistol range.

The APX didn't feel heavy, but had enough heft that it didn't move off target when firing and was easy to replicate shot after shot on the targets. It also helped keep the recoil unnoticeable. The trigger was good and I didn't have any complaints with its function, shape, or size. I had wondered if I would notice the striker block pin poking up through the top of the slide when I fired the gun, but I never did and didn't even think about it until I was finished shooting for the day. I didn't have any issues with any of the ammo...no FTF or FTE. Ejected cases didn't get thrown long distances away but they all left the gun fine and stayed away from my face and body.

I had never owned or even shot a Beretta before this one and debated on which model APX to buy: the full size, midsize Centurion, or the Compact. I am pleased with my decision to get the Centurion as it has a little longer grip than the Compact with a couple more rounds capacity but is smaller overall than the full size model. I look forward to putting many more rounds through this Centurion and, if it continues to perform as well as it has thus far, I would consider buying another Beretta.

I just took this firearm to the range and it was really nice. I was searching for something a little different than the glock. I felt the firearm in a store but never shot it. The ergnomics is what really motivated me to buy this firearm. Some people describe it as \"like shaking someone\'s hand\". That description is accurate. The trigger when drying firing felt nice and when I took it to the range I wasn\'t disappointed although I don\'t have alot to compare it to. Before I took it to the range I broke it down and cleaned it. It was a little difficult at first to figure out how to do it but I got the hang of it eventually. I am sure next time it will be easier. When I went to the range it ate up my Remington ammo with ease. The shot placement was accurate although I still have to get more use to the firearm but I loved shooting it and would be confident using this pistol in a defensive situation. The serrations are actually not as useful as one seems. Quite honestly though I love the pistol and don\'t regret purchasing it. I don\'t regret buying this over a glock. It also helped with the rebate and discount it comes out to under 400 bucks new. If I could give it 4 and a half stars I would. I guess I will just give it 5 but it\'s really worth checking out. Although I dont have enough polymer double striker fired pistols to compare it to.
