Smith & Wesson M&P 45 M2.0 Compact No Thumb Safety 45 ACP Pistol - Blue/Black, 4" Barrel, 10 Rounds, 3-Dot Sights

Although I haven’t fired this pistol yet, the quality and functionality is what would be expected from Smith and Wesson. Plenty of back strap choices for a good fit, and quite simple to change. As far as the service from Buds; very smooth, quick shipping considering the Christmas season. Pricing was fair and options for payment were plenty. Always a pleasure.

Finally took this firearm to the range with 75 rounds to fire and this gun is a real pleasure to shoot. I found the recoil impulse to be light which allowed for very quick follow up shots. I found the gun to be accurate and was able to deliver 25 yard head shots on a consistent basis. The grip angle is well suited the grip just feels really good in the hand. The trigger is a bit gritty which was corrected by polishing the trigger bar slightly. Overall I'm very pleased with this gun and this is the first M&P for me. I will use this for CC carry with Federal HST plus -P ammo 230 grain. The 4 inch barrel provides a good sight radius and is easy to carry in a variety of carry methods. This platform hands down out performs any of the numerous micro guns that everyone is so in love with. Those of you that have been in an actual gun fight will know what I'm talking about. So if you are looking for a fair priced 45 that is easy to carry and deploy you might consider this gun. The gun is well made and will provide many years of service. As with any weapon system the key to winning gun fights is TRAINING so get to the range.

Although I have just received this pistol, and have not had the chance to get to the range as yet, I am pleased with the purchase.

Excellent weapon. Well built and it feels like a man's gun. It's very sturdy and feels capable of exacting carnage if necessary. I can't wait to fire it.

Simply one of the best weapon I have ever fired. Depending, reliable and relatively inexpensive. Smith and Wesson has done it again in developing a weapon for any given situation!

Fired it for the first time today put a box of federal 230 grain fmj through it from ten yards. Great grouping for first shots, shoots a little high but not too bad. Recoil was very manageable, handled better than my Springfield. Is a natural pointer for me. Trigger may be a little on the heavy side but I don’t mind that in a carry gun. It’s not terribly heavy. Reset is short and crisp allowing quick follow up shots. I also fired 10 rounds of the ammo in intend on carrying, the 230 grain underwood +p loaded with Speer gold dots. I was expecting a lot more recoil but to my surprise it wasn’t nearly as much as I had expected and the gun really seemed to be very accurate with the gold dots. Love the gun. If you prefer 45 in a carry gun I’d definitely recommend this gun.
