the fit and finish is beautiful. there isn't anything that made me say man that isn't 1k dollar quality. I'd choose bergara again no question.

Rifle was out of stock initially, received an email in 4-5 days about availability. buds shipping with insurance to alaska was 150 less then quoted by other online dealers when looking into various dealers.
As for the rifle itself it’s a heavy target gun that might be able to be pressed into service for hunting. I don’t plan on hiking too far with it, the action is smoother then savage 300 win mag rifle I own, almost as smooth as my tikka t3x 300 win mag action.
The stock feels a little less rubbery houge feel then I was expecting but I really didn’t purchase this for the feel of the rifle stock, wanted a left hand target grade rifle for mid-long range work.
I was surprised that the rifle did not come with circling to act as a zero stop of cheek riser.
Have not shot it yet, but have good expectations for it.

I have now been to the range (100 yd) here on the Wasatch mountains. The first day I shot a 1/2" group. The next time I shot a 1/4" group (3 shot). I am almost 78 years old, with much arthritis in my hands and shoulders,so it's hard for me to hold a steady aim. Needless to say, I'm VERY happy with this smooth-action rifle. It's easy to make the stock fit well.

The screws for the length of pull spacers unscrewed alright for removing a spacer but would not screw back in far enough to secure the remaining two spacers. Will either have to use appropriately sized drill bit to ream out the screw holes a little to get the screws to screw in far enough with just two spacers or just get used to using the rifle with all three spacers, or return to Bergara for fix. Probably will need to call Bergara for advice. Rifle is a bit heavy but other than that it seems to be a pretty decent rifle. I haven't been able to sight it in yet due an issue with the new scope I bought to go with it.
