This is a fantastic firearm, the trigger pull is crisp, the build quality is superb, and the price at Bud\\\'s was incredible. It\\\'s great to get a high quality, German engineered handgun that is still made in the USA. They shipped it to my local gun store very quickly with no problems. The one drawback is it is hard to find accessories for this handgun. Otherwise, I have no complaints, would definitely recommend it to others.

Thank you buds for allways fulfilling my firearm and accessories choice!\r\nThe walther ppq m2 45 is a great choice in a full size hand gun both the 9mm and 45acp are fantastic and will shoot anything you feed them.\r\nThe bore axis is a little higher than normal so if you dont mind a little muzzle flop this could be for you.

Phenomenal handgun, my favorite .45 ACP i have ever shot. Reliable, accurate, and comfortable. Trigger is outstanding. my top choice for a home defense pistol.

About the gun: This Walther PPQ M2 .45 is wonderful. The grip is comfortable and fits well in my hand. I put the larger backstrap on and I love the feel of the extra hump in my palm and the bit of rubber under the dovetail. It shoots really well. The very first time I shot it was on steel targets from about 15 yards. I hit the target right off the bat. The recoil is very manageable and it is easy shoot accurately. The trigger on this pistol is very light, and I love it. The gun I received had a much lighter trigger than the advertised 5.6 lbs. This is the 2nd Walther pistol I have purchased and I highly recommend them. High quality, comfortable in hand and very accurate. Get one. \r\n\r\nAbout Bud\\\'s: I have purchased a Walther PPQ M2 in .45, Walther PPS M2 in 9mm, Marlin Model 60 in .22, Ruger LCP 2 in .380, and a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Mid-length MOE. Bud\\\'s has always had the best prices. Whether I have bought outright or used the layaway option it has always been an easy transaction. I will continue to shop from Bud\\\'s and always recommend them.

Got this firearm along with another Walther... this was one of the first larger Walthers I have purchased (my wife has a PPK). I was kicking around the PPQ for a while debating on the caliber to purchase. I decided to get this it in .45 so I had more rounds than my 1911. What a SWEET shooting weapon. Accurate, easy shooting, and the ergonomics that everyone raves about with Walther\\\'s is right on the money. I highly recommend this firearm. Trigger is as advertised, and it\\\'s so easy to shoot. The firearm is 5 stars, and Buds (as expected) was 5 stars. I ordered this weapon on a Mon and it was at my FFL on Fri.

Purchased my Walther last week and fired it for the first time today. I must say that the PPQ .45 lived up to all my expectations but what I really fell in love with was the trigger. While most factory triggers have a long pull, the Walther is very smooth and easy to fire. I knew that I made the right decision in this purchase.

I intentionally laid back on the purchase of a PPQ for few years to see what other folks thought, and have read and studied their reviews, it\\\'s only fair that I post my thoughts and share with others what I think. I use the large back strap. I have not mounted anything on the rail, and likely never will - BUT - if I did, I will buy a large light and fill it full of molten lead to help with barrel flip and perceived recoil. Gun is manageable with 230 grain toasty warm loads. PPQ is accurate delivering sub 2 MOA groups with Federal target 230 grain ball, in other words a ragged hole at 10 yards - which is better than I can shoot 45 ACP 230 grain ammo offhand. Recoil is noticeably increasing as magazine becomes lighter (this is to be expected with any polymer 45ACP) especially for rounds 11, 12 and 13. I own two other 45 ACP polymer striker pistols and find this PPQ 4.25 inch to land smack in between my Glock 21 (worst) and Springfield basic Original design 4 inch XD (best) - just based on perceived felt recoil. Nothing I have owned except my Ruger LC9S-Pro\\\'s even approach the striker fired trigger of the PPQ. The PPQ sights are an opportunity for an upgrade and I will likely go with an XS big dot night sight setup as I have on most all of my carry pistols. IMHO the trigger and grip geometry are the hallmarks of the PPQ in 45, I like the fact that I will never have to doctor the factory trigger to get excellent marksmanship results with the PPQ. I like the heavy slide as it does do a fabulous job soaking up a significant amount of the recoil without complicated spring(s) and captured springs on guide rods. I like the overall weight being what it is for EDC. I dislike the way Walther designed the magazine well, but I have found that with some practice I have been able to master relatively fast reloads. The slide serrations both front and rear are great and grip very well yet do not snag clothing, I do not use the slide release levers as a matter of preference because I have learned to use the slide to release itself, and on the PPQ it releases like butter with just a reasonable tug from thumb and forefinger of weak hand. After and during a healthy break in period of 400 rounds, I have had zero malfunctions shooting mostly 230 ball. I have a total of five OEM magazines and find them all to work flawlessly and easy to load manually (with my thumb). My only beef with this pistol is the relatively obscurity of aftermarket accessories, primarily very limited holsters - which is of course no fault of the PPQ. It is worth a mention that the awesome grip geometry comes with a tactical price - you will have to practice your grip and draw (a bunch - especially of you are an older shooter with many thousands of rounds downrange from a 1911 or standard Glock 21 frame. Again I can not stress enough, especially if you are coming from heavy use of another platform, 1911, Glock, XD - the PPQ DEMANDS a COMPLETE handhold (I built up a palm swell from inner tube \\\"rubber bands\\\") to get my grip just right) before complete holster extraction and absolutely before presentation to the target, this pistol requires training and practice for muscle memory on the GRIP and HOLD - and - TRIGGER DISCIPLINE. Overall I am very happy, and now plan on purchasing a 9MM PPQ I just have to decide on which one(s) (LOL) and phase out my Beretta 92 series pistols.

Ordering my Walther PPQ M2. 45 was very easy. The list price was the best I found from reputable dealers. I checked Cabelas, Academy and a few others. The FFL transfer went smoothly due to my local gunshop being listed in Bud\\\\\\\'s FFL database. I still haven\\\\\\\'t fired the weapon yet because I have taken time to examine my weapon as well as read the owner\\\\\\\'s manual cover to cover. I have fired another PPQ M2 45 at my local gunshop and that\\\\\\\'s why I wanted to make the purchase.\\r\\n\\r\\nI learned about Bud\\\\\\\'s Gun Shop by watching Hickock 45 on YouTube. I am very pleased with my purchase experience with this company y and I am probably going to make my next purchase from them. The only item that I wasn\\\\\\\'t happy about is the time it took UPS to deliver the weapon to my local gunshop. The bill of sale stated 2nd day air shipment and it took 4 days to deliver the weapon after they took receipt of it from Bud\\\\\\\'s. By no means was this on Bud\\\\\\\'s Gun Shop, UPS just delayed the shipment. \\r\\n\\r\\nMy local gunshop was able to get me in for the FFL transfer 4 hours after taking delivery from the UPS driver. Now, that made me happy.

Hi Alex, They're the same except for the magazines. This comes with (2) 12 round magazines while the 2807077 comes with (2) 10 round magazines. The above model also has way more in stock which makes the price much lower as well. Buds prices are lower when more items are in stock. Fewer in stock items means prices are higher. Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock.

Hi Eric, They will only ship 10 round magazines to Ca as thats the max we're allowed here. Other states it handles 12 rounds just fine. Since it' comes with 12 it isn't Ca Compliant.
