The FNX series features an ergonomic polymer frame with a low-bore axis for less felt recoil and improved control. The grip panels are checkered and ribbed for comfortable, non-snag carry. Interchangeable backstraps quickly adapt the FNX to your hand size, and the profiled stainless steel slide has cocking serrations front and rear. Ambidextrous operating controls (decocking/safety lever, slide stop, and magazine release) make the FNX perfect for competition or personal defense. The FNX Tactical features a 5.3" cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with .578x28 tpi and a thread protector. The FNX Tactical also has high-profile combat night sights and includes two mounting bases to accept multiple styles of optional red-dot electronic sights. This Tactical 45 ACP model has a black frame and slide. It comes with two 15-round mags and a Viper red dot.

I am very pleased with the gun. I love the black powder color on it and the slickness. Easy to shoot and feels very good in my hands. It has strong body, providing me with the grip needed to handle business without hesitation. It is worth the money and a great investment. The load capacity is outstanding. Cons My gun came with a Vortex Viper sight on it, but it sits too low with regard the dovetail sighs, that is my opinion. Not exactly like the picture I saw before I bought it. It was missing a bottom plate and Vortex replaced it for me, very good customer service. But the mount plate Vortex gave me can't be attached to the gun, because the mounting plate supposed to be used to attach the sight to it is missing. The sight in the picture sits higher than on my gun and I can not find a mounting plate to attach the plate Vortex sent me. I can attach the sight to the mounting plate Vortex sent me, but I cannot attach these two to the gun itself, a base plate is missing I assume. Very disappointing.

This firearm is exceptional. The red dot co witnesses with the suppressor height sights. Because its polymer it feels a little off with an empty magazine but the moment you load it it feels perfect. I would buy another in a moment but I won't have too because it's an FN.

As you see from some of my reviews I purchase a lot of Fn guns and own quite a few of them . Well most won’t like my review on this weapon , this one the site was totally off like it had been dropped or something. Sorry but I’m not a fan of this one , it’s seem clunky to me and just doesn’t feel smooth to me and being a pretty good shot I couldn’t hit 💩 with gun and glad to know my one son couldn’t either and it’s not like we don’t have another Fn45. I would say chalk it up to a bad range day but everything else was spot on , so I will dump this one this week l
