This is an awesome little plinker! Super accurate and great with quick fire drill/competition shooting! Mine loves federal bulk ammo, eats it up with 0 issues. Anything CCI however, tends to habe feeding issues that seem to be caused by the magazines (All 3 have the same issue). The back of the casing gets wedged under the font lips of the magazine instead of riding up, it usually happens 2-3x per mag. I tried blazer, mini mag, and stinger, all with similar results. That being said, if it wants to shoot cheap bulk ammo, I can't complain too much, itd just be nice if it ate everything like a few of my other 22's do.

Hi. I had almost forgotten I bought this firearm. I also have the non-competition TX22 and wanted the upgrade. I put a red dot sight on it and it's awesome. Unfortunately shortly after getting it all set up. I had a health crisis. Now that I'm back to 'normal' (ha ha). I'll have to break it out for some fun om some metal targets. NEVER a jam, FTF, FTE, etc. It's a jewel, like it's basic brother. ron

I really like my TX22 Competition that I bought from Buds. It is as reliable as any 22lr pistol I have shot. It looks really cool too. Threaded barrel makes it easy to shoot suppressed and this TX22 Competition is a great suppressor host.

Nice pistol. Had to clean and lubricate mags with dry lube to get proper function. It was also necessary to completely strip (bolt as well) ,clean,and lube all parts in the upper receiver to get proper function.very accurate and fun to shoot.installed a holosun as well. Almost feels like cheating with this set up. Tried talking to taurus tech about initial issues but was told to send in as they could not advise me how to fix as they told me "we ,meaning taurus ,are not gunsmiths"

I am really happy with this little .22 loads of fun. Was hesitant to buy a taurus, but listened to reviews and glad I did! Took my mother to the range with it and we had a blast with low recoil. Pros -Optics ready and fits many options -Threaded barrel -3 mags -Ran every type of ammo I have tried so far with 0 ftf/fte -Very nice hard case that has pre cut foam inserts -Fixed barrel that comes out with the slide for easy cleaning Cons -Grip texture is very smooth (easy fix and it is a .22 not too worried about slipping) -Very dirty from factory with some burrs on slides -Now the reason it got four stars is it has failed to slide lock on empty about 15% of the time once empty I do only have about 300 rounds through it.
