Century Arms's heavy duty AK rifle, the VSKA (vis-kuh) has been re-engineered with critical components using machined S7 tool steel. The VSKA rifle features a bolt carrier, front trunnion, and feed ramp machined from S7 tool steel and specially heat treated for maximum durability. The front trunnion and bolt are machined from billet and exceeded the durability goals for the project. Additionally, the VSKA features a carburized 4140 steel bolt, a chrome-moly 4150 barrel, and sports the RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group for an impressive trigger pull.

This turned out to be a much more reliable rifle than I expected. I considered this to be a budget AK , but I would gladly run this rifle anywhere anytime. I highly enjoy this and would recommend it to anyone wanting an AK47 for a very low price.

This AK is the real deal. Seems to be well made. No complaints about it from me. Functions nicely. Since this is my first AK, I’m still learning. But the system is so simple and no nonsense. I like it. Runs that steel case great, as it should. A quick clean and white lithium grease. Good to go. Can’t beat the price either.

This VSKA is a dependable and sturdy rifle. My Pro Mag ,U.S. Palm and Bulgarian mags work great with this AK. I absolutely love the Red Wood and this AK appears to have quality parts. Recieved it today and shot 200rds with no problems. Took about 10 rds to sight it in to where I needed it to be. The VSKA is a great AKM patterened rifle. Quit thinking about it and get one.

Century Arms VSKA, Russian Red.
Shipping was fast, 1 week to southern Arizona. With the sales price (not the cash discount price), shipping insurance, sales tax and FFL transfer fee my final cost was $939.00.
Having said that I think this is a very good price considering it's 2022 and what the firearm industry is going thru. One of my reasons for the purchase is that it is made/assembled in Vermont. I'm not knocking the imports, just saying. The fit & finish, quality of build and materials, the Russian Red furniture are all very good. One US Palm 30 round magazine came in the box. The front sight post was perfectly centered out of the box. The rivets and pins are all perfectly seated. Love the Red Russian stain and the finish on the receiver and barrel. The inside of the receiver, trunnion, barrel, etc were exceptional clean with no rough edges anywhere. A slight film of oil from the factory was present, which is a good thing. On the fence about the Century Arms VSKA ? Don't be. Get one. Thanks Buds and Century Arms.
