This 380 ACP (aka 380 Auto, they are one and the same) cartridge by
Federal is ideal for indoor range training because it has a totally
lead-free bullet. It’s a lightweight bullet without the heavy metal
inside of it, and at 70 grains it delivers a very fast 1,110 fps muzzle
velocity out of a 3.75” barrel. That brings about a flat trajectory,
with only about 1.1” bullet drop at 50 yards.

I usually run Federal Syntech .380ACP in my Ruger, but lately that has been out of stock. I ran some of these lead-free rounds in .45ACP through my HK45 Tactical, and thought I’d try these in my new Ruger Security-380. These run clean and smooth with hardly any recoil. These are great training rounds. For carry, I like the Federal Hyrdashock Deep rounds when in stock and recently tried some of the Fiocchi Extreme Terminal Performance rounds.
