Shoots very well from my 1/7 twist barrel. Bullet stayed together for good penetration on a mule deer at 130 yards.

While this ammo was accurate in my LWRC M6A2, it was not reliable; the extractor kept ripping a portion of the case rim off, sometimes leaving the spent case in the chamber. It did not matter if the gun was clean or dirty; in addition, I switched back and forth between other brands of cartridges having zero issues. I believe VOR-TX is a quality brand; if I had to speculate I'd say it was overgassing the piston system, causing a violent extraction. I would definitely recommend the brand, and would even consider purchasing lore now that I have a DI gun. However, for the time I used the ammo it was, while accurate, less than 100% reliable.

These shoot well under 1 moa in my 16" criterion barrel. I took a whitetail doe last season with them. Clean pass through and quick dispatching of animal. I shoot barnes in all my hunting rifles and have been pleasantly surprised at how accurate their loaded ammo is.

The Barns 70gr TSX is my go to ammo for hog hunting. This round will go clean through any pigs head. What happens in between is enough to drop them right there.
