Kimber Rapide Black Ice 9MM Stainless Steel 5in. 9RD - 5" Barrel, 9 Rounds, Composite Grips, Night Sights

Never owned a Kimber but gave it a try. Overall very happy with the gun, so much so I bought an evo 9mm after firing the rapide. The gun feeds well and handles well. The grip scales look uncomfortable but they work well and grip securely. My only issue is that Kimber is stingy with their magazines. I intended on having this cerakoted with a flying tiger theme but I have reconsidered after seeing it. Great looking pistol.

The Kimber Rapide Black Ice is a truly beautiful gun. Feels great in the hand and has thumb indent in the grip for a perfect fit. TruGlo TFX Pro sights are bright and easy to acquire. Both Fiberoptic for daytime and Tritium for nighttime. Trigger pull is clean and super crispy. Very accurate gun.
All in all great gun. Only negative is it only comes with 1 magazine.

Pistol shot great right out of the box plus it is just a terrific looking gun. Very happy with this purchase. The only problem I have is it only ships with one magazine. I've been trying to get one from Kimber for a week and a half now. See how long that takes. The service from Bud's is great, as usual. This is one beautiful pistol! It is extremely accurate. It shoots as good as it looks! This gun is competition ready right out of the box. Low recoil, fantastic sights, with perfect grips. You can shoot IDPA or any other competition with a gun that runs like a dream. My one complaint is that a pistol costing over 1K only came with one mag! One mag! That is totally ridiculous! Otherwise this is one sweet gun. So save your change and buy additional mags. Get your name on the waiting list, because these are hard to find. I should also complement Buds for their excellent customer service with fast processing and shipping. I highly recommend this pistol.
