KRISS DEFIANCE DMK22 .22 LR 16.5 Olive Drab Green - Green, 16.5" Barrel, 15 Rounds, Synthetic, 6-Position Stock

The DMK22 is, without question, the most convincing 22lr trainer on the market. It looks, feels and operates like a top tier 223 AR, including weight distribution, hammer forged barrel, great trigger, flip up sights, adjustable stock, and last round bolt hold open. This is a beautiful rifle with superb fit and finish. I do wish the handguard was Mlok instead of proprietary, otherwise, Kriss knocks this one out of the park

Why this rifle? December I suffered an injury to my right shoulder which put my weekly shooting schedule to a halt. I started looking at various 22lr AR-15 platforms to allow me to shoot with less recoil than the standard 5.56 or 308. With many hours of research and physically inspecting various versions S&W and the like, I bought this rifle blind after researching it the best I could online due to it’s true metal nature and mil spec lower & upper similarities. I have only had it a few weeks, but after multiple range visits, and the installation of a Geissele SSA-E trigger it is quickly becoming one of my favorite rifles over my past 45 years of shooting. It does have it’s hiccups, but all in all is superior to other AR22 platforms. BUS are excellent too.
