Gun arrived at ffl dealer for transfer. Looked nice. Got home and started to break down. 1st thing: slide would not remove from frame. Should slide right off. Had to push on back of slide with thumb to get it off. Thats a problem to me. 2nd found pieces of broken spring in the spring plug. Cleaned it up and put back together. Tried break down again and slide still wont budge unless pushed by thumb from back of slide. Ordered 2 other 1911 Sigs month before this and take down is easy. Slides come off easily. Dont know if slide needs factory work. Put back together again and safety checks all good. This order also was for 2 Sig 1911s. Will be writing review for the nickel pvd finish ultra. Guess what. Same problem with slide. Had to leave home that night for work but will contact Sig when I return. Just dont know if its safe to shoot. Mabe needs a break-in period. None of my other Sigs have had any issues. Shoot just fine right out of the box. Ordering and rcvng pistols form Buds has always been good experience
