Ruger M77 Mark II International 223/5.56 - Stainless/Silver, 18.5" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, Wood, Walnut Stock

This Ruger 77 carbine is awesome: small, (but not light), shoots tight groups at 100 yrds; is beautiful and just oozes quality ! It's a pleasure to just hold it and look at its classic beauty.
The Mauser type action performs flawlessly; put a Leupold 1.5 - 4 Freedom scope with hog-plex recticle on to make it super fast on target ( for 100 yrd. varmints ) and using Nosler
Varmaggedon 62 gr hollow points, crows don't just drop over, as with Hornady, they actually explode ! Most of my shots here in Ohio, are 100 yards or less, so perfect.
At 200 yrds, bullet drop is about 3 1/2 inches and the reticles a bit too fat for precise shooting - so I leave the longer shots for my CZ 243 with Burris Veracity 2-10 power, making a very dynamic duo of rifles.
Buds is always pleasant to deal with, compared to the morons at Cabelas, so it's worth the drive down from Cincinnati.
