I purchased this rifle because I saw the potential for using both iron sights and a scope. Iron sights up close and the scope when moving further away. I now have an awesome setup on my awesome rifle. It’s very accurate! I recommend you get one ASAP!

Great little gun. Trigger is easy to adjust. Action is a little sloppy. It doesn't like the two composite mags I tried in it. I will stick with the factory mag for now

MVP patrol rifle is a great lightweight, and handy rifle. This would be great as a new shooter rifle for training. The trigger is light and adjustable. recoil is like a daisy pellet rifle. The open sights work great as this is a short range cartridge anyway. However you can remove the rear sight easily to properly mount a scope if wanted.

This is a great rifle for the money . It has a super safety and a great trigger and its very crisp and clean ( i estimate around 2+ lbs ) . I love the stock its so great (back in the old days we had to pay extra for comp stocks) . It has sling swivel studs in place , and a nice recoil pad (protects the stock and makes it silent on the deck). Mine is the new and wonderful 300aac cal. i knocked off the flash hider with a 1 lb brass hammer and an 8" wrench by myself to attach an "appliance." The sites are high enough to look over such an "appliance",and the handy 16.25" barrel makes it very well balanced (with an appliance). . Mine was just over 6lbs and with "an appliance" and my favorite "reflex site" ,its just over 7lbs and a delight to sling. i use the inverted off shoulder carry because i can mount it quickly that way . It will use my old Colt 20 rd AR magazines ( i mark some 300aac ) and i only load 15rds ( to > spring lifespan ) and i can modify one of the compact 10rd mags to hold 3 rds max for hunting . Those 10rd mags have a very sleek profile compared to the 20s , and it comes with one 10rd mag. If you check prices it is about the lowest priced "scout rifle" and is very high quality for the $$ . I expect there will be a large increase in price , or an outright shortage of these fine little rifles .
