I believe these magazines are better than the standard sig 7 round magazine because base plate is much more durable. I have broken several standard sig 7 round magazine base plates when slapping them into position on my p938. The base plate of the standard sig 7 round magazines is more of a molded plastic sleeve held into position by plastic clips that fracture when force is applied to the base of the magazine. This causes the sleeve to easily displace upward which then causes issues during magazine changes. Basically, the magazine does not lock into position within the mag well without more precise and time wasting moments . During a tense situation one cannot afford time wasted during mag changes.
This current 7 round magazine I purchased has a much more durable base plate. The only change I would make is extending the base plates tail like the standard sig 7 round magazine in order to create more purchase for my hands on the p938 grip.

These are good mag's. I put over 250 rounds on these magazines without any issues.
