Faxon Firearms produces some of the finest modern sporting rifle barrels
on the market today. These barrels are manufactured 100% in house at
Faxon from start to finish. Each barrel must meet a very strict and
specific set of tolerances in order to be approved to leave the factory.
The barrel is fully stress relieved along with being air gauge tested
and magnetic particle inspected for quality. You would be hard pressed
to find a better quality barrel on the market today.
Constructed from 4150 mil-spec barrel steel and featuring a Government/SOCOM profile this barrel is made to a 16" length. It is chambered in the popular 5.56 NATO cartridge and uses a mid-length gas system. An M4 barrel extension is used in order to allow for reliable feeding from magazines and a standard .750" diameter gas block diameter is used for maximum compatibility with after market gas blocks.
