Great knife to slip on a belt or in a pocket. Nice size for most EDC duty. Would be Great for trout, striped bass, catfish and spoonbills when you need something a little stiffer than a filet knife. Good for small to medium sized game skinning, rabbit, turkey, coyote, ducks and geese. It might do well with a deer, but would be better compared to a caping knife. But it's so nice, I don't want it stinking and dirty! Thick and torpedo-like grip, keeps the knife exactly where I expect it to be, The forward trigger finger grip is perfect. I wouldn't take this one to a fight, but it would do plenty of damage. The balance between blade and grip is just right, it's beefy and has just enough weight to lay into your grip. Comes with a purple braid, and a black braid. Just a beautiful little knife for carrying. The steel isn't super hard, but a sharpening steel or a ceramic rod will maintain a razor sharp hone. Great little knife for food prep! The sheath is good, works fine, but I'm looking at other options. Not always a big fan of scout carry. I'm a little worried that it'll fall out because the handle end tilts downward every time I sit down. 5 stars for sure! I've already bought a second one.

Very attractive knife. Feels good in the hand. Makes a nice little skinner for the grandson.
