Made in the USA, the Magpul PRS2 (Precision Rifle/Sniper) G3 Model is a drop-in, precision-adjustable butt stock especially designed for the HK G3/91 rifle and its variants. Designed to offer the fine-tuned, customized feel of a precision target stock, the PRS2 is adjustable for both cheek riser height and length-of-pull without sacrificing the durability necessary to withstand the operational environment. Compared to common plastic fixed stocks, the PRS2 has a similar minimum LOP but can extend up to 1.25" longer. Machined aluminum adjustment knobs feature positive-locking click detents to maintain position under recoil and allows easy, tool-less adjustments by simply rotating the knobs. Machined aluminum butt-plate and alloy steel adjustment shafts provide stability and strength to withstand severe impact conditions. Rubber butt-pad offers positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage for optimal accuracy even with body armor or modular gear. Stronger and heavier than most OEM stocks, the PRS2 also adds beneficial weight to the rear of normally nose-heavy G3/91 rifles.

I haven't installed the precision stock yet but I have examined it and verified that all the adjustments work satisfactorily. I don't anticipate any problems installing the end cap and standard buffer on the precision stock shortly.
At a later date I will be modifying the precision stock to accept the enhanced buffer along with the extended rubber butt pad available.
I am very satisfied with this precision stock and look forward to using it!
I am going to really like the adjustable cheek piece with my detachable scope and mount!

Buds had the best price I could find on this stock when I was looking. They delivered it quickly and arrived as specified. The stock looks awesome on the rifle & feels great in my shoulder.
Now for the downsides. I bought this for my PTR-91 and there are a couple of issues. First since I was coming from the original G.I. stock, I did not have the required (and unmentioned), HK G3 Large Buffer Screw (https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=16981-
) that is needed to secure the buffer in the new stock. Not a major add-on, but it would be nice to have known it was needed prior to purchasing this. The major issue I have though is with the fit on the back plate. As stated in the instructions: "Mate the PRS2 HK Interface with the G3 Back Plate. Note: This is a snug fit and may require light tapping with a rubber mallet to ensure the HK Interface is fully seated in the G3 Back Plate." Now what this doesn't say is that once this goes on, it will NOT come off. I had originally planned on being able to swap this out with my original stock for different usages, but now I will need to buy an entirely separate back plate & recoil rod assembly if I want to do that. Kind of a bummer, but now I can see why some other sites sell this with the back plate & recoil rod assembly included (at a higher price of course).

Stock fits perfectly and really improves the stability compared to the original stock. Also Bud's price was the best that I could find for this high demand item. This is a must have if you own a H&K G3 and are interested in improving your long range shooting. I love all the adjustable options it has with regard to ensuring your line of sight is perfect with a scope and/or the iron sights.
