Smith & Wesson LE Model 686 Plus 7" 357 Magnum Revolver - Stainless/Silver, 7" Barrel, 7 Rounds, Wood Grips, 3-Dot Sights

I have a S&W guns (both revolvers and semi's) and this one is likely one of my favorite 357's. So glad I bought it.

I bought the 3 inch version a few months back and really liked it. I have put 300 rounds through the 7 inch and my how the trigger has smoothed out. This revolver is very accurate and feels great in the hand. Shot 125gr buffalo bore chronograph at 1920 fps. recoil is mild when compared to the 3 inch version. Very happy with the purchase

First, Bud’s was great as always. The revolver is really high quality. Very solid and functions flawlessly. My only complaint is the grips. They are very cheap looking and doesn’t fit properly on my revolver. I would rate these grips as throwaways for anyone considering on buying this revolver. Defiantly, the cheapest grips I’ve seen on a Smith&Wesson from the factory.

A well balanced revolver that points well, and intuitively. I like the smooth cylinder, and find it handles even magnum loads effortlessly.

Revolver looked used, with a lot of carbon in and around forcing cone. A lot of scuffs on barrel and different grips. You get the black rounded grips that are in some of the other pictures with 357 on the side. I HATE sending guns back because it’s such a pain in the butt to get back to my ffl before they close. The gun cleaned up nice and seems to shoot well. Emailed Buds just to let them know and they responded basically “talk to S&W”. Don’t blame Buds. They say once you accept it it’s yours. Just letting you know to check your gun before you sign if it’s a big deal. Cuss your gonna be stuck with it. I actually like the black grips better and the gun looks new now….with about an hour of polishing.

Beautiful revolver. The grips fit my hands very well.

Nice revolver, but the grip needs to be larger, especially for a gun this powerful.
