Due to the current outrageous prices (Feb 14 2021) for ammo, I have only shot 20 rounds of FMJ ammo (4 Remington brass and 16 TulAmmo steel) through this pistol. It functioned perfectly. With magazine, the empty gun weighed about 17.5 ounces on my mail scale. The trigger pull was long but smooth. The three white-dot site system is good. The gun locked open after the last round on both 10-round magazines. I have average-sized hands and I did not really like the finger indentations on the grip. I believe SCCY should just go with a straight front-of-grip handle allowing the shooter to put his fingers wherever he wants. Also, this pistol does not have a round-in-chamber indicator. It should. This pistol is made in Daytona Beach, FL. Being a Floridian, I like that. Overall, this is a good gun at a fair price.

This pistol is really good for the money very comfortable in the hand the safety hits your hand slightly when you shoot it but has very little recoil for the price of the gun. After shooting for 500 rounds through the pain comes out of the slide

I purchased this CPX 1 with hopes of using it as my carry. However, its incredibly stiff and not an easy loading gun. Love the feel. The sites are awesome. Just need too much time and strength to load.

Its a great gun. Very sure of my safety if needed in a emergency case. Shoot about 200 rounds with no problema atte all. I will like if SCCY would consider working in the trigger mecanisim. Great gun all thru! Thanks!!

First purchase from Buds and everything was easy,smooth,and professional. My FFL handled the transfer quickly and at a more than reasonable cost. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of this pistol and despite a lot of negative feedback on the trigger in reviews found it light and smooth. Since I am used to firing DA revolvers the trigger action was much better than expected from what I had read. The two supplied 10 round magazines were extremely stiff springed and hard to initially load but got much easier to load with subsequent loading. I had two failures to load and lockup the first time using each magazine. After that there were no failures to load, fire, or eject in any of the next 300 rounds my son and I fired at our local range. The three dot sights were well regulated for good groups at combat ranges and though certainly not a target pistol did fine out at 25 yards. This pistol is a little wider than I expected but will be a great carry gun. Certainly impressed with the value delivered by SCCY and the pricing and service offered by Buds.
