The 509T is absolutely incredible.

At first I was a little weary of paying so much for a single firearm. But I gotta tell you, this was a wonderful purchase. FNs trigger on this one isn’t nearly as nice as some more recent models they have come out with, but it still is a very nice firearm. Plus with the 2023 rebate attached to this one, how could you say no to that! On top of the amazing service buds provides, the Multiple $10 discount definitely provides an edge with other companies pricing on firearms. Thanks again buds!

This fast became my favorite handgun, easy to shoot, low recoil. Multiple springs for shooting different ammo or suppressed. Gobbles up any ammo I throw at it and sends it down range. Thanks to Buds for fast shipping and great prices.

The 509 Tactical is the best looking 9MM pistol I have held. It shoots sweet and the 24 round mag makes sure you aren't going to be outgunned. I put a 507C on top and I really enjoy the shooting experience with this pistol.

Beat handgun purchase I’ve ever made. Stability is like no other. The accuracy I know involves a lot but this firearm feels like I can do less “hand mechanics” and achieve great accuracy on target shooting. Well made and reliable. Worth every penny!! Buds guns even shipped it fast!

This gun comes loaded with features right out of the box. Optics ready, threaded barrel, extended mags, suppressor height night sights, and ambidextrous!! I have easily spent double what this one costs by customizing glocks with same features, it is great that someone (FN) finally makes one as a full package ready to go. My only complaint is that this gun is almost too perfect out of the box. I haven’t felt the need to upgrade anything that it’s been completely left “stock”. Sure you can upgrade the trigger and a couple other things but I really don’t mind the stock one. It is such a smooth trigger and design that my mantis x doesn’t even register half the shots when dry fire practicing! I would highly recommend this gun to anyone that wants a do all gun (except maybe conceal carry). If you have a lot of custom built glocks already it might almost be too “boring” of a gun being so great out of the box!! FN really nailed it with the 509 Tactical!

I had my hopes a lot higher for this fire alarm it’s still functions properly but the extended magazine’s has jamming issues with hollow points the red that face plate is not the easiest to install and cleaning it can be sometimes difficult

First off I'm just going to tell you that you will hate those 24 round mags... at least for the first few loadings.
Well where to start on this pistol? Certainly its not a bad pistol, but its not a great pistol. In my own MHS trials where I pitted it against the Sig M-17 and Glock 19X it came in last. Not that that's bad. The pistol certain checks the boxes that it looks good, its comfortable to shoot, its reliable, and has an excellent feature set.
It's really hard to form an opinion on this pistol, as its not anywhere close to being terrible, and some places it really shines (Optic readiness), but in others it's quite mediocre (trigger). I think the problem is I'm just not sure it's price is justified by it's performance, which wasn't bad, but paled significantly compared to others.

NEVER EVER USE THEIR FINANCE PLAN!!!!! It’s a company out of California that is there to screw you completly over! If you’re are not able to pay it off in the amount of days off you chose then their interest sky rockets!!! I paid mine off prior to that problem but wanted to help someone out, let’s say you pay 2k, you will pay like 6k in interest with this company!!! Other than that, I love this gun and buds delivered again!!!

A very wonder all around pistol... has a good soild feel to it. Well built fn pistol. Love the look and how easy it is to put my redot on it without struggle or fuss. Definitely a good buy would recommend it for any one or size

One of the better full size handguns on the market. It's extremely well made with an abundance of features that allow you to customize without a lot of additional expense. The gun's weight helps offset its slightly higher bore axis (when compared to a Glock/P10c/M&P). The recoil impulse does result in a slightly more exaggerated muzzle flip, but certainly easy to control and follow-ups seems similarly quick to competitors. Accuracy on par with my Glock Gen 5 and P10c. Accuracy is at least commendable relative to combat uses. It's a 5-star gun overall, but probably just 4.5-star for "Value". It's just a bit pricey and the 24-round mags, while cool, are really not efficient. I like Glock's approach (1 flush, and 2-19rnd) better than FNs. I would have rather had a flush and 2 19-round with a small extension rather than the really large 24-rounders.

If you're looking at an FN you already know its going to be a beautiful firearm and function at or beyond that same level. With that being said, my 509 tac is no exception. Out of the box the gun screams sheer badass. My FFL thought so too. Before ever shooting I put a Burris Fast Fire III RMR on and a Streamlight TLR-7. Both fit exceptionally well, as I was a little concerned on the slide being milled and fitting so many different RMRs and not requiring locktite. My fears were quickly diminished feeling how secure it was right after install and how secure it is now with the round count a little over 500 on one day of shooting. I checked the screws on the RMR after shooting and they are just as tight as installment. The o-ring design FN came up with definitely does what it is supposed to do. Bud's was fantastic as always, of course! They always are.
