I have 2 Escort rifles. One came falling out of the box but no damage to the rifle. It was a great rifle for the price. Now you can't find the wooden stock rifle. It was my everyday user till I got my CZ Jaguar. Both rifles are great.

Great 22lr. safety is backwards from most other rifles. Well worth the money.

It’s a good budget rifle from Turkey. I have no complaints about my purchase.

The bad: The rear adjustable sight does not lock down tight. It can be moved back and forth with your fingers about 3 mm in each direction. The mags stick in the stock and must be pulled free. My sling did not fit the mounts on the stock. The holes drilled in the mounts were too close to the gun. For a 22LR its on the heavy side, and its not as accurate as you might expect.
The good: The trigger is very nice breaking at about 3 pounds, and the piece seems to be well made. The fiber optic sights are easy to see and there are a lot of features on this gun for the price.
All in all a very average gun. If your in the market for a bolt action 22 i would suggest a Savage Mark II.

Bought the Escort .22 for my son's 15th birthday.
It is an awesome rifle !
I happened to catch it on sale which made the deal even sweeter !
I used one of Bud's approved shops to ship it to , the deal was quick and painless 😁.
I would not hesitate to buy from Bud's again !

This is a really good rifle with nice wood and smooth action. For the money a must have for your 22lr collection. Cci standard vol. Was the best out of my collection which I have too many to mention here. With open sights 1" at 50 I put a k6 scope on it and got 1/2" on average. All in all a good rifle for under $200.

Just Got this .22LR today. It is very nice, the sights are all metal and adjustable. EVERY PART IS METAL AND GOOD QUALITY METAL EXCEPT THE MAGAZINE. This is a very good value. Barrel length is 26" with the muzzle break.

I was very pleased with this purchase. Buds had this rifle at a good price and included free shipping. An additional $20.00 FFL fee from my local gun shop and I spent a total of $201.00. The gun was delivered quickly. I was happy with the finish of the gun and it functions properly. It shoots well and is very accurate with standard velocity ammunition. The adjustable trigger is nice but the factory setting was light enough to not bother with at this point. I've put about 250 rounds through it so far and look forward to many more hours of shooting pleasure.

Purchased March 14th, 2019. (~$174.00) -Threaded Barrel (Hand Tightened Flash Hider) [1/2X28] -2x 10 round magazines (mostly plastic) -Solid Wood -Nice Finish -Sling Mounts Installed -Minimal scratches on wood stock from shipping. Overall a very nice firearm for the money. (Have not shot it yet, but I think this would be nice suppressed target rifle.) Description was minimal, so I thought I'd bite the bullet for the team. Someone please tell me if the rock island M14Y is threaded?

This was my first purchase from Buds. The online process was pleasant and efficient. Buds made the choice of an FFL easy, and I appreciate that. The rifle, an Escort 22LR arrived a week later. Upon observation I could not see any defects or scratches. All was packaged just fine. Took it to the range -- I was not expecting much from this low-priced Turkish rifle, but bought it because it was a new model and that is always exciting. Well, I was quite surprised. The bolt action worked smoothly and I love the hogback stock for open sight shooting. My eye lines up perfectly with the "irons" (which actually are the only plastic parts), So, I shot 200 rounds of CCI, Federal and Aguila ammo at 30 and 75 yards with absolutely no problems. The tightest and consistently so groupings at 30 yards were with CCI Mini Mag (just under an inch) and with Aiguila 38 grain HP at 75 yards (an inch). I will try this rifle for jack rabbit hunting, so Aguila it is! I am delighted with the process of purchasing from Buds as well as the rifle. Will do it again!

Most accurate out of the box 22 ever. Shoots great with any ammo.

The rifle shipped out quickly and was delivered to my FFL dealer without any issues. My rifle came with two magazines, and a threaded barrel. I took the rifle to the range and set up my targets at 25 yards. I ran about 100 rounds of cheap 22 long rifle ammo through the barrel to break it in. The magazine fit snug and had no issues with feeding the rounds. The bolt locks up tight. The trigger operates very smoothly, and I would guesstimate the pull to be about 3.5 pounds. I mounted a 6 - 24 x 50 AO scope on this rifle. I had to use tall rings in order to clear the factory sights. I switched over to CCI Blazer ammo, and shot 10 rounds each at four separate targets. All the rounds could be covered with a dime on all four targets. The rifle shoots just as good and accurate as my 10 22 and my Remington 513t. At this low price I would highly recommend this 22 rifle.

Recently ordered this rifle chambered in 22 LR. It's manufactured in Turkey and seems to be well made both fit and finish. It's bolt action with two 10 round magazines. It arrived without any damage. It came with an attached compensator that was not illustrated in the picture on the webpage and in the question section it was not suppose to have one or be threaded. It is removable, thus has a threaded muzzle but did not come with a separate muzzle protector if you chose to remove the compensator. Also, no indication of the thread count. Anyway, it's really a nicely built, attractive rifle. I placed a 3x9x40 scope and it was necessary to use high profile scope rings, even if the front sight was removed. It has integral 3/8" Grooved Dovetail Receiver Optic Mount which the rings fit well on. Took it to the range and shot at 50 yrds. After adjusting the scope, it would shot about 3/4" groups with target ammo. The magazines are easy to load and the bolt worked flawlessly and very very smooth. Finished the rifle off with a sling attached to the integrated sling swivel studs. Don't know if I just got a good one or what, but out of a 100 rounds, all shot and hit their mark. Very pleased with this inexpensive rifle.

I have only run 15 rounds of browning 22lr. Through the gun. It was accurate with iron sights but I had 7 light strikes and had to lift the bolt again and refire. All fired on the second try. Good looking military type trainer, wood is. Ice. I will retarded when I get another chance to test. I have oiled things up and hope the light strikes go away.

Front sight screw was stripped, rear sight will not hold setting bolt handle has .008" play. With the safety on the bolt handle wiggles around like the bolt might Fall out of the receiver. I can fix these issues BUT the chamber is not centered on the bore. This distorts the bullets when fired. It wil never shoot accurate. It is beyond my skill level to fix. I do not recommend this rifle. Legacy sports int. contacted Hatsan. Waiting on response.

I heartily recommend this rifle. For the money it is the best quality .22 rifle I own. Compares favorably with my CZ .22s. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this rifle for the cost and because I trusted Legacy Sports. The rifle is very heavy, the action is good, and from the factory the trigger is very light and crisp. The wood looks nice, but the finish is rough parkerized instead of blue. Nice sights and it feeds well. On the down side, if a target was very large and very close you might hit it occasionally. This rifle has the worst crown I have ever seen on a gun. Groups at 50 yards were awful. Coming in at three to seven inches with various match and standard ammo. With match ammo I was having failures to extract and I'd have to manually pry the casing from the chamber. One of the stocks wood screws was stripped, but repairable. I contacted Legacy Sports and was disappointed by their response. For just a little more money Buds offers much better 22 rifles. Next, I have my eye on a Ruger American from Buds.
