One of my favorite every day cc. Easy to clean. The only issue that I have found is there is a plastic guide for the firing pin. That over time it will break. They do make after market one for it that are made of aluminum. But even with it being broken it does not effect the function of the pistol. It's a common issue with this pistol.

Nice fit for me. Although I have not put a ton of rounds through it, it has no issues at all.

I purchased this gun as a daily carry. I just never got used to the hard trigger pull. I traded it in along with another Springfield for a Kimber Aegis.

Very reliable and very well priced

Purchased this weapon for my wife. Perfect fit due to single stack magazine, the 3.3 inch slide and grip style for her smaller hand. This my second Springfield (1st is XDM 3.8 9 mm) and love the quality of the weapon with zero issues. Additionally I like backstrap and trigger safety function of the weapon. Highly recommend Springfield Arms.

Love this gun! The first time firing was a great experience. Not much kick back. Small so makes a great conceal carry option.

Great service from Buds and a very convenient way to purchase a firearm. The pistol is a great concealed carry pistol the ergonomics and thin width make it very easy to conceal. The firearm performed well on the range and ate multiple brands of JHP and ball with no issues. Bottom line is it goes bang every time and is a accurate compact pistol if you do your part.

Gun is awesome, did not like the original XDS, but when i put the MOD2 in my hand i knew it was the gun for me. Perfect size for conceal carry and does not bother you at all when on the hip

I bought this gun for my wife. She loves it! It fits her perfectly. So far we’ve put 200 rounds through it with no problems. I would highly recommend this gun to my friends.

Fantastic sub-compact 9mm. Bought for my EDC gun and couldn't be happier with the size and build quality. The built-in grip safety is a plus for EDC IMHO. Perfect fit for concealment and comfort and also to shoot. Fiber optic sights are good as well. Likely not my last Springfield.

Love this gun. I keep trying to find the perfect EDC, have S & W Shield, J Frames, Sig 938. Love my Sig, and I train for it, but always worry that I'll miss the safety. Have always wished it had the palm safety, has rest of 1911 controls. Same concern on Shield. Well, XD-S gives me the palm safety so I can carry it appendix without worry, and I'm ready to go. Almost as tiny as Sig. Like the loaded indicator. Good sights, adjustable. Overall nice gun, very pleased with purchase. I put it in a BladeTech holster.

Have fired 425+ rounds over three range sessions. 100% reliability. Four different brands of ball ammo. Exceptional accuracy. Recoil is very manageable...front sight comes back down on target naturally. Trigger is a little stiff relative to what I'm used to but travel and reset are perfect for me. Assuming trigger will lighten up a bit with more use. Magazines seat and slide racking are what I've come to expect from Springfield - excellent. Fiber optic front sight is easy to pick up. Bought an 8 round magazine as I plan to use it for concealed carry. Didn't think I'd find another single stack as good as my S&W Shield, but the XD-S Mod2 is slightly better overall...but costs about $100 more. Definitely worth it for me.

The XDS MOD 2 is a nice piece for the money being easy to conceal and carry. My level of shooting is pretty high so this being said these guns could use a better trigger because creep and take up along with a slow reset is not my favorite. A reliable gun but with the marginal trigger it takes time to master. Buds price is good but their shipping is slow now beware.

Pretty much what I expected of the gun and buds. It's an XDS with all the mod.2 updates. I prefer the mod.2 over the original XD or XDM due to the grip changes and the fiber optic safety. The build is of the same quality as other Springfield Armory guns and it feels good in the hand. Concealability is what you would expect from an XDS. Your mileage will vary based on how you conceal. I carry this appendix with a Vedder holster and it rides fine. I always consider the weak link in accuracy to be me. The gun puts shots where I tell it to. I prefer shooting with the extended mag at the range but carry with the flush mag. It has the exact same takedown and cleaning/lubing requirements as any other XD series pistol. No issues on the range. I shoot WWB and Federal both in 124 grain and carry gold dot.

Run 300 round fmj and 50 jhp run flawlessly so far it the best single stack 9mm in the market! With all the features and quality built
